❤️I still can't get over the art of the opening OST. All the little foreshadowing details, and of course the lyrics and music of the OST put together made it as watchable as the episode itself. Black Moonlight however is a satisfying wrap up of the episode as well.
❤️Again, that sense of inevitability with the entrance of the Devil God , his menacing aura, and the fact that once he sets his eye on people, their death is assured, and the weight of what Li Susu has to do in the past are what makes this first episode spectacular, and truly what draws in a viewer like me into the story.
Honestly, if LYX decides to take on villain roles, he'd smash it out of the park😎😆

Ngl, I was going to drop LOTDT in the early eps coz I wasn't feeling XRR's carelessness and immaturity then.... thankfully there was that flashback when she became MQG, who was quite interesting at that point. Then that atrocious beard of SYS came up, and the Drop button was again almost triggered (WHAT IN H---was that?!?!) 🤣 and, tbh, I felt there should be something more with SYS's background than simply being his father's pawn and his mother's collateral (I understood everything later) but when the real story of why MQG "attacked" him and the heavenly sects happened, DW made me throw the Drop button away by acting SYS's anguish and regrets brilliantly. I ff'd some scenes, sure, but not the ones with DW and eventually Julia, but especially DW🤣, in it. As I said, I LOVED his petty era😆

Enough appreciation post?🤣 but really well deserved.👏👏👏Beauty?✅️ Talent?✅️ Deng Wei is someone to look forward to. I'm really glad I got to see him first in TTEOTM tho, because his potential was there (tho I understand Miss the Dragon was his first drama?)
