I'm currently reading the novel and Princess Dan Yang's life is like Princess Wan Ning's life of The Double. It's heartbreaking. Glad she met Yan Shang and found a great love.
Maybe they changed that here in the drama, there was no mention that she was previously in an arranged political marriage in the synopsis.

Thank goodness! I'm already half way through the novel and won't be able to cope if it's SE.
