I just watched the first episode.. honestly I would not really recommend for people who love reading the manhwa.…
I don't read manhwa and I am quite enjoying this drama. However, to add to what you are saying, I feel like it can be argued that when any written format is adapted to dramas/movie, they never quite satisfy anyone's expectations. It's a very common problem.
That is completely fair. And I'm sorry you had to go through that. That kind of trauma sticks with you and unfortunately shapes you as you grow older. It makes you less brave, less adventurous and less confident. Your feelings when you met with yours after years are understandable. And it is completely up to the victim of abuse to either forgive or not. In actuality, no one is owed forgiveness. It is a privilege to receive it and not easy to give. I try to move past grievances as best as I can for my own mental health. Hope you managed to live past this experience <3
I get it trust me. I was never a bully in school and minded my own business, but there were girls who were. Fast forward 15 years and some of these girls are now activists and living a healthy life.
Do I get slightly annoyed when I see them and I remember how they used to behave as teens? Yes. But then I think, who am I to judge their present selves? I don't know the kind of work they have done on themselves to become better people. We can only move forward, I guess. And holding on to anger helps no one.
ABH seems to relate and gravitate more towards action dramas, however it is in comedic roles that he truly shines. This drama would not be as great if they went with another lead actor. He really makes this show great.
Such a mean comment. 'ML 's height is kind of requirement (180 cm +) '.. says who exactly? Not all women prefer tall men, especially if they themselves are petite.
The "CEO" trope was in the tags, though 👀 If you dislike it, why'd you try to watch it?Most dramas…
👏👏 Exactly! It's literally in the tags. This is the equivalent of me going to starbucks and complaining my white chocolate latte is too sweet ya know? 😅
I'm curious about something if anyone is aware of this.. but does the 'no wearing white to someone else's wedding' does not apply in China? This is not the first time I've watched a Chinese dramas with the female lead showing up dressed in white and I always cringe.
on kisskh plot, it's written 'a laugh a minute romantic comedy', so expected just that but it's not really funny😅,…
Yeah, I haven’t found a funny chinese drama thus far. They tend to all be on the more cutesy, serious side. Korean dramas are more commonly funny. If anyone has any recommendations please send them my way! 😊
why? They are trying so hard😢I wish them all success
I don’t mind paying because at the end of the day a service should never be free if it cost money to maintain and develop. But to charge individuals the same amount of money but giving less to one and more to the other is plain theft. They should not even bother competing with Netflix if they don’t address this problem first.
This line up is still not interesting enough to subscribe to Disney+
Maybe if these shows were actually offered to all paying subscribers I would consider it. But until then, I won't get scammed again into paying and end up not finding any of the newly released kdramas.
If you don’t like a comment from a Webtoon reader or anyone who may not agree with you, you can just ignore…
I completely agree with you. I love discussing what I like and dislike in the comments section here. It feels like I'm watching it with all the other commenters here and makes the experience fun. Sometimes, some people even manage to change my mind and allow me to see a different perspective. Having said that, in an ideal world, the criticism is constructive and genuine, and not based on hate.
I'm all for freedom of expression, but let's be kind to each other. Let's not comment on frivolous things like the lines in the FL's face like someone mentioned further down. It feels icky and it helps no one right? I would not go up to a person on the street and call them fat. Same applies here. That's my two cents anyway. Kindness above all else <3
