I like the fact that the reason why we never have gotten a spoken confession even after the bracelet arc is because he wasn't yet whole at the time. And to reach that 100%, Zi Qi hopes Miaomiao to see his hidden true feelings and for her to know how he's always liked her when his true identity is finally revealed.
We literally got a confession at the final episode, which I think is more impactful than if he did confess during their journey in the game ~ 🍀

Even though overall I loved how it was wrapped up, I still think the ending, like the very final scene, could've been executed better. I did get what I wanted of some modern scenes at the final episode but not enough of the actual reunion. I was hoping there's at least a bonus episode or something.

After finishing, I already feel empty inside 🥹
But on the other side, I can finally go back to my normal life 😅

Now, I'm not even mad we didn't get a kiss, that forehead kiss is kinda way better given the scenario. But I wanna give a slap to the producer and director for not freaking showing Zi Qi/Fu Zhou's face in the end 😤I mean, is that too much to ask??? Xiao Ding was even there during the shooting. Gosh, flashback to Romance on the Farm with only the voice of the ML in the end, too 🥲

What a great wrap-up of the story. A resolution and a conclusion. Every words uttered, every actions done, and every character roles all played a big part in the entirety of the story. There was no loose ends, everything was tied.

I didn't expect that this drama that started pretty lighthearted would actually end up to be quite heartwarming 🥹. Ofc, the drama isn't perfect, it has some flaws here and there like any other dramas are, but it was great overall. Out of all the transmigration stories I've read or watched, this is definitely one where they showed how deeply connected the ML and FL are.

Moral of the story: -- You should first love your yourself before you can truly love others. ------
Hoping that everyone can love themselves to also reach that 100% and be your full potential ~🍀

Also the fact that compared to the other transmigration drama I've watched, this has a background story on the connection between the leads which is way better than just simply a story in the novel. Only regretful thing is why they didn't show the ML here when he was literally there. Maybe they did cut the scene.

I haven't watched the entire episodes yet but from all the comments and spoilers I saw and read, I would also consider it HE as well. If there's a resolution, then that's pretty much satisfactory in my book.

I tend to look at the overall picture and not merely just for the ending.

Only applies to costume dramas. Their modern dramas are always HE, so idk what's up with that.
Have no idea if censorship plays a role with it as well.

I'm used to it. Add to the fact that before LGIEF dropped, I watched two consecutive Cdramas with SEs.
An ending doesn't usually make or break my enjoyment of a drama. It's more of the regret and a wish for a better execution.

Tbh, I think Cdrama writers are just on crack when it comes to endings for costume dramas🤣

It hurts more knowing the 2nd couple got to smooch twice, but nothing for our MiaoQi?? That's a crime. If the director doesn't want any kissing scenes, he should've removed all of them altogether 🤣
I guess that one commenter before is right. This director here cut a kissing scene from his previous drama and only showed it in an MV.

Idk if there's anything in between since people skipped just to see the ending.
