My ship is literally and entirely the Titanic ship, so I am mainly here for the ride, the entertainment and the heartbreaks πI am here to hate to love and love to hate every character ~
All I can say is this is what a drama adaptation is supposed to be if the script is penned by the author herself. I know there's some limitations or things you can and cannot portray from a written material to a live action and there's some things you can only get from reading than watching and vice versa. But here, the script is written from the perspective of the author herself. So evidently, the writing is smooth sailing, so far.
I'm glad there isn't any twist about Hua Hua's senior, which is always the case mostly with some dramas. Interesting to see how Hua Hua proceeds from now on as he basically achieved what he always wanted and what kept him going for the past 10 years.
And poor baby FDB, I feel sorry for him for always being kept in the dark about LLH and DFS's identities π
Iβm the same as you π I used to prefer Damon over Stefan (Vampire Diaries anyone?) and basically was all…
I'm neutral when it comes to fantasy/supernatural elements in a series/movie, as long as they keep me engaged. But I wouldn't go gaga to each and every one.. haha
Only following two on your list. This and LYF, my Immortal Samsara couple... haha.
True ~ Altho they're on different dramas, it's nice to see them again gracing our screen. Didn't expect their dramas would be airing at the same time. It's a healthy competition.

Oh, wow, speaking of TVD, I was always Team Stefan.. haha. Coz their connection is just pure and genuine. TVD went downhill for me coz I still don't like the fact that there's two bros, as in blood related, going for one girl π
Who I/we ship aside, I can already see myself rooting for each character. After all, it's a matter of who we resonate with the most. I can't say much about our 1st ML, apart from what his and XY's connection during their childhood and his 300-year search for her. 2nd ML - Your very endearing guy. Gentle and loyal. But also shreds a bit of a mystery. 3rd ML - The demon who is neither bad nor good. So far, he had the most in-depth/interesting conversation with XY. I can imagine they will share a deeper bond down the road. For someone who ordered to whip her 40 times, I'm surprised she's very open to him ~
Also, I like the fact that the main characters are morally grey which actually makes them more "human".
I like the pacing of the story, not too fast-paced or too slow, just about right. That way, you won't miss any single detail ~
Our Hua Hua lies so easily like he's breathing π Interesting that FDB learned not to believe everything that's spewing out of his mouth, at least about DFS. But everything else, he believes.. haha. Hua Hua's lying is also starting to rub on him and started lying in Ep. 10 ~ And for someone who doesn't seem to trust or like DFS, FDB sure calls him "Ah Fei" π
He is not. I think because DFB regards LXY with so much respect that he self-proclaimed himself as a disciple of LXY. Altho they met once when he was still a child, that meeting made a big impact in his life so he tried his best to get better, physically and in martial arts.
It's not like he lost it, if you're referring to his martial art skills. As you can see, he can still do it, albeit very limited coz he's very weak due to the poison. He can no longer exert that much effort or else he'll just hasten his death.
I never really trusted MDL's ratings. Gone were the good ol' days when ratings are actually accurate on this page. Ratings should be after a drama ended. How can one freaking rate a drama that isn't even finished? π©
Anyways ~

Hope the writer is gonna be consistent about that after closing it that way.
