Yeah, which is why Youku should improve their app, esp. the international one that they're currently promoting if they wanna attract subscribers. They should even have a website too, just like WeTV and iQiyi.

Interesting, isn't it? Haha.. because I, too, myself, in my years of watching various dramas, had never ever been this invested in the main pairing of a drama. I have my fair share of favorite pairings but not to the point where I always want to see them every time 😁So I get the frustrations of most viewers if they don't see the CP in just one episode ... it feels forever...haha ~

I think only for China ones. I have the international and it doesn't have that feature. Their app is way behind. Doesn't even have a Search option.

Yes, the events taking place in the mortal realm are definitely a key to both YD and TZ"s relationship and would give them a more deeper understanding of each other when they finally regain their memories. Whatever they will learn and experience will greatly impact how they will decide on what their relationship would be.

Exactly. To each their own. If you only want an action every episode, then this drama will not give you exactly that because it focuses more on explicit details. You have to see the entire forest, not just the tree ~

I think if we're watching this drama real time with just 2 eps a day and we barely have CP moments because, you know, we just love seeing the two leads together more, and that Youku has yet to release the schedule for Part 2 as we only have 4 eps remaining for Part 1 and there's a lot more to cover, then, yes, the mortal arc may seem slow as a turtle. But if you like a bit slow paced and the attention to the smallest detail they're giving, then, of course, you wouldn't feel as though it's draggy.

So far, everything that they had been showing is connected to the overall plot and plays a significant part. You just have to pay attention to the tiniest details because they're of essence. Ep. 33-34 led us to the demon lord, Xuan Xiang, who is an important figure during the war. Even without his memories, TZ finding the four divine artifacts will eventually lead him to finding out the truth about the war, which is his original mission of ascending to the mortal realm in the first place.
