Truly. I don't like how he dismisses immediately what Lu Ming was about to say about YY and the events that truly happened. He solely cares that Yan Dan was hurt but doesn't even try to comprehend why. I like that he cares for Yan Dan and centers his life around her. But as he's too focused on Yan Dan, he also is blind to so many other things. He only sees the tree but not the forest. This only shows he just doesn't have a full understanding of Yan Dan.
If there's one good thing that lamp ever did is be a catalyst for Yan Dan to finally think about her feelings…

And man, I needed more Yan Dan and Tang Zhou moments, though. But I do love the parallel again of them riding the jellyfish and Yan Dan catching particles, while in the Heavenly Realm, the whale. It was an exact copycat of the scene.
If there's one good thing that lamp ever did is be a catalyst for Yan Dan to finally think about her feelings and perspective about love, esp. when it comes to Tang Zhou. If she didn't raise that question, "Do you like him, too?", we wouldn't actually get to see her reaction and deeper thoughts about the differences between her being with Tang Zhou and others.
For the past episodes, she's been oblivious to things as she does not have a full understanding of what love even is. "Is it sweet or bitter?" When she asked Tang Zhou that, clearly, he knows it better coz he's actually feeling it, albeit may not admit to it. And the answer is both. Now that the question of love is laid in front of her, we can finally see some progress on her part. Her getting jealous of that lamp is the first step to her discovering what it meant and feels like.
** Difference between Yu Mo and YY/Tang Zhou's love **** Yu Mo does not crave for greater power as long as he is with his beloved. He doesn't care about the world. He will only care about one person. If he has Yan Dan by his side, he won't care about the Three Realms and the Four Seas.
YY/Tang Zhou possesses great power. Thus, he's important in maintaining the peace within the Three Realms. "Without the Three Realms, I will lose you," (this line of YY is from spoilers). In order to protect his beloved, Yan Dan, he will protect the world. The sad thing about this is (again from spoilers), if they will care about the Three Realms, who would care about them?
