My take also in that scene is after Tang Zhou was stabbed, it also indicates all debts are paid. He owed her a life and now it's paid back, as Yan Dan was narrating in the trailer. This may also mean the slate is now clean for the both of them.
After the mortal arc, pretty sure they will go back to the Heavenly realm with their memories intact from when they were in the mortal realm. And when they were both being punished together, that must be a punishment of love.
About their wedding, I'm not sure whether that was fake or not. But my wild guess is, is that event will probably be later or the final arc of the drama. They might actually get married but there were also some fight scenes that are gonna unfold during that. Like Ying Yuan's Asura blood acting up and trying to choke Yan Dan in that possessed form. And them fighting Huan Qin, who's probably the last and big villain of the story.
