I really don't wanna see him turning to the dark side. It's actually nice, for once, to finally have a brother (unrelated by blood) of the ML who genuinely cares for him. At this point, he does seem so as he was so devastated trying to find Lanxi when he went missing.
I'm starting to regret watching it too fast because there'll be new eps for 4 days after tomorrow π One episode just goes by without me realizing until I see the ending credits XD
I really hope the 1st Prince stays the genuine brother he is to Lan Xi till the end. I'm all for a brotherhood that thrives through loyalty, trust, and care between two brothers that don't even share an ounce of blood, despite the competition for the throne. I just don't wanna see that flushed down the drain just like so many dramas are. Those always break my heart.

Which is why I think they complement each other. And yet despite their different demeanors, they are also both strong and intelligent. I rarely see both FL and ML being on par in Chinese dramas so this is fine for me. But then again, it's all about preference ~ I think we may see more of the ML's in the later eps coz as of now, he's secretive of his other identity.

A part of me was actually a bit expecting to see some spoiler scenes from the opening and ending when I first clicked to watch, but it's all good that it doesn't. I was just so used to Cdramas spoiling everything for me π
