Yeah, hope not and I don't think so. From the interview I've watched, Xiao Shan is sort of a grey character. The director said he's innately good, but because of life circumstances, he's doing what he's doing.

I'm curious what Gil Dong wished for. Since they didn't show it, I guess it'll play a big part throughout the story. I think he wished for something good because when he was eating, he just seemed happy and nothing out of ordinary.
My guess is probably either Jin or Gil Dong met Hee Ra when they were younger or at least they were somehow connected to her. And is Jin gonna become a witch as well? From the teaser, there's this scene where Hee Ra was crying and she looks human, so I guess she was originally a human and then became a witch.
Oh, haha... maybe you can try watching Off and Mild's previous team up. It's one of the reasons, I think, that they were teamed up here again ~ Off is famous for his BL dramas and from GMMTV while Mild is a freelancer just like Baifern ^^.
