There's been a theory going around that the novel is becoming her reality, hence why she keeps forgetting the parts of the novel. She mentioned in Ep 13 that, strangely enough, she hasn't thought about conquering Zi Qi. Also the fact that Zi Qi is now suddenly remembering his forgotten childhood memories. These two things might actually be connected or something.

I kinda like the subtle lesson of the episodes today, that people come and go, but family will always be family. I don't often say it, but I love the sibling dynamic between Zi Qi and Yao. A good example of family isn't always about being blood related. Yao is truly that older sister for Zi Qi.
And in Ep. 19, even after his heartbreak, Zi Qi is shown to have truly grown, no longer clingy or so attached to his Ajie. And this is all after meeting Miaomiao.

But the saddest part for me was when Zi Qi was looking for his hairband and tied it on his hair himself 😭😭😭 Miaomiao should be the one doing it and then hugging him to reassure him everything's fine 🥲

On the other hand, I was a bit happy to see a Yandere Zi Qi 😅Dude was a bit creepy when he was in between those curtains and when he threatened to kill, I was scared for a bit there.
Demon Zi Qi's tears are quite pretty, tho.
Ding Yuxi really nails a tortured soul coz he's sooo good at it~

Also, despite all this, one thing I like about the episode is when Miaomiao insisted to Ruoshi that he calls her Yu'er instead of Miaomiao. Even though she's in a sort of a trance, it seems her heart still knows.

Omg, poor Marquis Ruoshi actor, have to explain that it's not his fault and all 🤣
