βI hope this will be a time for you to look back on the precious people around you and love them again.β π€§ --- note at the end.
This drama depicts that a wedding is not the happy ever after. Marriage comes after it. It won't be rainbows and butterflies, there's anger and sadness. But if there's sadness, there's happiness. BaekHong teaches us that a relationship can easily be broken through trivial matters. Hence, communication is a very significant part of it. They showed us that, "Love is enduring, bearing all things, suffering the sorrow loving may bring. Love is forgiving, welcoming home sinner and stranger, lost and alone." (Mary Nelson Keithahn)
Great episode - villains got their proper end with 30 minutes still to play out - which provided plenty of time…
Totally agree ~ I just know ES will die and also thought Hyun Woo would do it but nah we can't have it all π A waste of his shooting skill, but it was his quickness to take the bullet that prevailed π
Also, a solid 10 β for me coz I rate in general. Drama wasn't perfect (as things aren't always are) but it gave me a different satisfaction I have never felt for a long time for a Kdrama ~ β‘
Chase our ending scenery prediction really happened. They really go that far. I am crying so much
Ikr?? π€§
We were just entertaining the idea of them growing old. One of them passing away first and then the other becomes an angel who'll wait. The ending couldn't be more perfect. And so we no longer need to imagine what would happen after coz we witnessed everything ~
In short, the ending has always been foreshadowed since the very start (which was further substantiated by KSH's spoiler-y post π).
I did say before that I wouldn't mind crying my eyes out every episode, as long as at the end of it all, they would put a smile on my face. However, I wasn't just smiling, tears of joy were shed. Such a beautiful, rocky, and miraculous journey of Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In. It's their world and we're all witnesses and living testaments of their story ~

Tbh, I lowkey wanted to be a writer coz there's lot of scenarios in my head when I'm resting π
Can't for the release of the OST~

True ~ BaekHong will always be superior to me.
QoT did that to all of us π₯Ή
