Not long ago, I came across a comment on Reddit said that the ML (Mr. Gu) was very boring and passive, did practically nothing, She was about to drop the show and asked if the ML would ever develop or he kept being how he was from the start.
I then told her that he did develop, just keep going.
2 weeks later she came back to my comment and said MLN was her all-time favorite because it's so real and asked if there were any other shows like this one.
There're a lot of reason why people gave this show bad ratings. One of the main reason I think prolly is they were trying to find something more upbeat, highly entertaining and they ended up giving this show a try. Then they found it wasn't what they were looking for. So that's where we have all of this nonsense bad reviews and bad ratings.
On a side note, this show won best screenplay at Baeksang Awards 2023.

Ngl, I feel sorry for those who gave this show bad ratings without watching a single minute yet and are probably still lurking around here waiting for its unlikely downfall.

I watched Our Blues too, it's very good (well it has every thing to be not not good)
MLN is slow and depressed at the beginning. I guess it's just not for everyone since you kinda have to relate to the characters to get through each episode.

They should come up with something GOOD first.
