It is too early to compare these dramas really. It is more about the vibe I get from it that reminds me items from my list. They all are serious, slow, deep human drama that have an optimistic point of view. They all show not just 'life' but the progress of each character. This is why I don't see the resemblance with The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, for example. It has very different vibe.

I think they showed Do Ji Tae as an alternative ending of the story. Like, here you got the "happy ending" but actually what happens usually is this: Do Ji Tae. And Kim Hyun Soo understands it very well.

The beginning of this drama is very funny but there are few eps when Dr. Han is very frustrating but the abuse stops very fast and the drama becomes funny and romantic.
I watch few ongoings right now. The most waited new episodes for me are from Mr. Sunshine. Risky romance is in the second place.
