I don’t think he changed his name he is now a reporter so he is getting known by now what’s the point of changing his name? Plus the creditor apologized to yijin for blaming him just bc of his father’s bankruptcy and he even said he should live a happy life so yeah i don’t think he will change his name if anything yijin’s arc now is him shaping himself to be a true and trusted journalist/reporter or achieving his dream (work at nasa) like how heedo is determined to become a great fencer.
I think this will end either bittersweet or an open ending. A.) bittersweet - heedo and yijin won’t end up together they will meet again in the present time but both have their own families. Their love story will just be a beautiful part of their youth and that’s it. B.) Open ending - heedo and yijin meet again but maybe heedo is single now so is yijin and maybe they can now start again in their forties? I just don’t see a fluffy happily ever after wherein heedo and yijin are married and have a child though i would love to see it but chances are really slim 🥴 unless the writer has some major plot twist in store for us

Like it’s not even heedo’s fault that she lost even her being well off doesn’t have to do with the gold medal match that happened I know it’s sad and stressful to not have much financial resources but that doesn’t excuse her lack of sportsmanship and rudeness to Heedo.
