it went down i think because it was up against a popular singing contest airing on tv chosun i think jtbc should air this a lil bit earlier maybe at least 9:30pm kst 10:30 is kinda late already

i hope there will be no romance between them since this drama seems like a revenge/makjang drama but then again KES always insert romance like in mr sunshine lol anyways can lee dohyun consider a romcom for once please would love to see him in a drama with a bright plot

same i was enjoying the first half of S2 but things went downhill after ep 6 the timeskip somethings just felt draggy and then rushed the finale

i also don't like that that we didn't get to see jeongwon and gyeoul talking about their plans to leave for USA i posted a comment on the comment section regarding the sudden wintergarden migration. how i wish they showed us more of them planning their future, announcing their wedding date/engagement but then again the writer just decided to solve it offscreen which i didn't really like at all i feel like i deserve a proper closure regarding wingar's relationship.

i would just assume gyeoul and jeongwon would have get married before they go to US i'm also sad that uju didn't appear at all in the finale and yeah agree you with you a lot are missing this season. Idk if i should still anticipate for s3 tho

same rating! i personally feel like the writer isn't that good in writing romance but she is good at heart warming parts also too much parallelism from s1 kinda felt forced for me

i don't even think i would still want an s3 with the writing of the second half of s2 has gotten lazy how i wish they they just neatly wrapped up ep 12 imo

okay commenting again so basically after i watched that jeongwon gyeoul dinner scene, when gyeoul told ajw that her mom is doing fine she has a work now that keeps her busy and wants her to meet gyeoul's boyfriend i guess that was the sign that marriage is coming up for them. jeongwon's smile seems like it's because he finally got the cue to propose so now I kinda get the USA arc now. Before Jeongwon wants to go to Italy because he feels like he's not good enough being a doctor so he wants to enter priesthood but now he wants to leave for the kids he wants to be a better doctor (a good arc for him) but this time he's not alone he's with gyeoul and knowing their personalities pretty sure gyeoul will continue her fellowship there and not just accompany him so yeah it's pretty much they would have gotten married before they go to the states so basically jeongwon is now onto the next chapter of his life with gyeoul. moving abroad and studying together that's a major step up for their relationship though i just wish we saw a glimpse of them actually talking about it. I just don't like how they resolved that offscreen and just let the viewers interpret it! Like i hope they showed us that they're announcing their engagement or wedding to the lacking 5 or gs dads you know. Sorry for the long rant i just feel like they wasted wingar's storyline like that

i am disappointed too like i know they wanted a somewhat ordinary finale since this is slice of life but can they at least wrap it up neatly? season 2 bidulgi was so frustrating to watch they dragged the breakup only for them to get back together during that last 10 mins of the show? also WG after ep 10 basically nothing happened to their relationship it just become stagnant i thought we would at least get an engagement i'm sad jeongwon wasn't able to redeem his failed proposal. Oh well i guess WG probably got engaged and will get married before they leave for the states. I guess those scenarios are just left for us to imagine like deoksun and taek's wedding in r88

Jaehak shined the most in episode 12 for sure! He deserves after all the things he went through!!

right I enjoyed the first half but all of a sudden it seemed like the writer got lazy and just choose to get over the drama and done with lmaoooo

So I just rewatched the final episode and here are my thoughts. Still unsatisfied here's why

1.) I'm not a fan of Seokhyeong USA Alibi. I know his mother is such a strong force to deal with but he should have faced his mom heads on about Minha. I mean him and songhwa pointed out during the previous episodes that he always tends to avoid his problems and now he still basically avoided the problem by lying about his girlfriend. DUDE COME CLEAN TO YOUR MOTHER

2.) Wintergarden god i love this couple so much but what happened? After the mother arc of gyeoul nothing basically happened with their relationship? I honestly thought we're gonna get a proposal from AJW but nothing happened? The next thing you know they're both leaving for United States like what??? that was basically it? not even a family meeting? we didn't even hear jeongwon say i love you LMAOOO

3.) Bidulgi. GOD THEY'RE THE MOST FRUSTRATING COUPLE THIS SEASON MY GOD. I know. breakup was coming it was evident since s1 that they're lacking communication but damn the way shinlee handled their breakup was PURE MESS. Noble idiocy and dragged an unnecessary angst then boom at episode 12 they're already back together MEHHH. The girl who played iksun is a great actress kinda sad shinlee did her character dirty.

Anyways at least Jaehak got his happy ending he DESERVED. Got his money back, his scammer got caught, his wife gave birth to a healthy baby girl and his wife seems to be doing well too.

Final words, I enjoyed the first half of this season ep 7 onwards are kinda a downer well maybe except for ep 10 but yeah i'm not sure if I still want an S3 I'd rather have not one if they're just gonna keep dragging things and actually never resolve them.

i feel like they did originally ep 12 was supposed to go for 2 hours and 40 mins but not it only went for 2 hours so yea they probably deleted a lot of scenes

well that was an underwhelming finale bidulgi got back together last 10 mins of the show when they can just simply sort things out sooner! also what's up with wintergarden? i was expecting a proposal but what happened? why suddenly throw a USA arc for the both of them? That's so random and Mama Yang even has no idea that Minha is Seokhyeong's GF i guess they wanted the ending to seem so ordinary and simple but that was so unsatisfying

I think season 2 will end like reply 1988 bittersweet with lots of things that is left for you to imagine in reply 1988 Deoksun and Taek got together but they didn't show us their wedding also how they reveal to their friends and ssangmundong parents that they are dating we only got a simple montage of them, we also didn't know what happened to Dongryong and Jungpal after sunbora's wedding neither they are mentioned in the present time same with the parents they all moved and that's it. I think HP s2 will also end like this? like all couples will get together but there some things that won't be revealed in detail like shinlee will just let us imagine what would happen. S3 would be nice but it's really not needed anymore HP would be that drama you would watch for feel good vibes that will leave you a bittersweet feeling at the end

AHHHHH LOVED THIS EPISODE THOUGH HONESTLY DON'T THINK THERE WILL BE A SEASON 3 ANYMORE I MEAN ALL THE SHIPS HAVE SAILED WELL BIDULGI IS ALMOST THERE IKSONG ARE A COUPLE NOW SEOKHYUNG JUST NEEDS TO FACE HIS MOM AND WINGAR I THINK THEY MIGHT END UP ENGAGED OR MARRIED THAT'S PROBABLY WHY THEY DIDN'T MUCH HAVE SCREENTIME TODAY I THINK THE NEXT STEP FOR THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS ENGAGEMENT OR WEDDING ( they're saving it for the last ep) SO YEAH THEY MIGHT DISCUSS HAVING S3 IN THE FUTURE BUT RIGHT NOW I THINK THERE ARE NO PLANS YET FOR HAVING ONE

exactly lol minha and jaehak get a lot of screentime too and they're just cool with it but when it comes to Gyeoul they're about to throw hands lol hospital playlist fans on twitter act like they're stanning a kpop group who cries over screentime and mistreatment lmaoooo when HP is literally just a drama and these are FICTIONAL PEOPLE those weirdos

loved how heart warming this drama is i started this without having much expectations but ended up putting the last 2 episodes on hold for a week because i didn't want to end it yet 🥺🥺 i hope they could get baeksang nominations next year for best in cinematography and screenplay
