am I the only one here who understands songhwa? Like if she has feelings for ikjun it's not easy to cross the line I mean they've been friends for two decades now and don't forget Ikjun is a single father too yeah they are all fond of uju but it's different to her being an automatic step mother to him. I know the slow burn is kinda frustrating but it's very real how getting into relationship with ikjun is not easy for her

ikjun knows his boundaries plus he already did his part and "confessed" to songhwa but he got rejected and he respectfully accepted that.

I like Iksun/Junwan when they were still together but now that they broke up idk? Iksun ghosted him and pulled a noble idiocy leaving junwan lonely and depressed for a year. I want a fresh start for him imo but if they gonna get back together I hope it won't be a rushed and sloppy writing

I'm loving the progress between gomgom it's like slowly but surely! Looking forward to them in the coming eps also the lyrics for ost part 8 is kinda sad idk if it's for bidulgi or for gomgom since minha is the cover

I really hope Iksun can redeem herself on ep 9 cause at this point I just want Junwan to completely move on and just be happy without her. I hope in ep 9 maybe Iksun can explain herself and maybe we could get more of her pov.

honestly Ling Xiao's dad is at fault too for what happened to him. He basically just overworked himself to avoid all of their problems he didn't even reassure LX that what happened to his sister was never his fault he's basically an absent parent to LX too.

I LOVE THIS DRAMA. First ZIQIU I love his character so much every time he appears on screen I feel like I just want to give him a hug and tell him that he's so loved and there's nothing wrong with him. GREAT GREAT acting from Zhang Xincheng and actually I don't consider him as a second lead I think the 3 of them are the main leads of this show. I kinda didn't mind the romance between Ling Xiao and Jianjian I mean it's always been there since they were kids they were more like a childhood sweethearts imo. I did not like at how they confused Ziqiu about his love for JJ i mean it was obviously a sister love everyone who watched this show knew that so it was kinda unnecessary for them to threw a "mini love triangle" there. The other one I didn't like is Ling Xiao's father I mean yeah he's not as terrible as Chen Ting but what exactly did he do for Ling Xiao? He's kinda useless all he did was overwork himself to avoid their problems and when LX's uncle wanted him to go to Singapore to be with his mom he didn't fight for him hard like you're his father you clearly knew LX didn't want to go how come you didn't do much for him? or when LX is already in Singapore how come he didn't even visit him there at all??? Tho yeah he kinda redeemed himself at the end but maybe that's because the drama is ending so they need to wrap things up. Li Hai Chao is best person award! He's just too good to be true

I just hope Han Jihyun's next project after this drama will be a lead role. She acts the best among the hera kids and her popularity seems to be growing too she has the potential to be a top star

I just want a happy ending for soljiwan the rest of the characters could end up single and i wouldn't mind lmaooooo

Team Suho all the way tho yeah I didn't like how they handled the breakup but Seojun never really had a chance (i'm only talking about the drama since I didn't read the webtoon). Jugyeong only sees him as a friend anyways he too got his happy ending he was able to debut as a singer which he always dreamed of. Loved the love story of Jugyeong's sister and the teacher tho

same i kinda don't want them to get back together what she did to him was painful she basically ghosted him. i think what junwan needs the most right now is an explanation and closure. i am not sure though if they can still introduce a new love interest considering there are only 5 eps left unless there's a third season but the production team said nothing is certain for season 3 yet

Taewoong is such a creep man I was so disturbed by him omg dude's literally her freaking teacher?????!!!! he watched her grew up and to make it worse he's the fiance of her sister who d worded. Him having feelings for her and actually pursuing her was so disturbing I had to drop this drama because of his character

here are my favorite scenes in this drama

1. When Deoksun and Sung Dongil were talking about dreams DS asked his father what's his dream and he said he just wants his children to be healthy I cried so hard during that scene
2. Choi Moosung asking Taek for his permission because he wants to be with Sunwoo's mother and taek without any hesitations just supported his father saying it's his life and he's all for it because it will make his father happy
3. Junghwan's surprise wedding for his parents. He's such a lovely tsundere
4. Taek visiting Junghwan in his base and Junghwan just basically told him to pursue Deoksun you could see that Junghwan said it with no hard feelings he's happy for the both of them.
5. Taek's proposal it was soooo simple but you can see how Deoksun is already happy and contented with also loved the meaning behind that turtle <3

when reply 1988 was airing i think ryu junyeol's a lil bit popular than bogum bc junghwan is a fan favorite though both actors were rising stars PBG popularity skyrocketed after love in the moonlight though
