yep a lot on twitter actually complained about her screentime and said her character had more depth than the main characters. i just find it annoying cause she always just gets a fair amount of screen time for a supporting character except for this ep since they already need to reveal her family situation and ppl on stan twt and other forum shaded gyeoul's character non stop also they even have an issue about lee ilhwa being her mother saying that having her as the mom is too much for her since she's not even a main character kinda annoying ngl

IDK why people are complaining over gyeoul's screentime for ep 10 actually I think only in this episode she had a lot because they already need to unveil and somehow wrap up her backstory/mother's arc. And now that we've already seen a proper communication between wintergarden (actually that's the purpose of her backstory imo it's to show us how jeongwon will always be there for gyeoul in good times or in bad times unlike her brother's fiancee who just left him because of their trashy father) the gyeoul mother story is pretty much concluded now. Yes I know Lee Ilhwa is yet to make an appearance but i think shinlee just saw it as an opportunity to have some clever reply 1994 reference lol i mean YYS and Sung Dong Il play as brothers here so why not have lee il hwa as gyeoul's mother since gyeoul is ajw's girlfriend. Her appearance will probably just be a catalyst for a wintergarden marriage. As you all know shinlee loves having reference from their previous dramas like in reply 1998 trash made a cameo as a doctor because in r94 he's a med student also Lee Kyuhyung's cameo he is a pharmacist who fell in love with his bestfriend and that's exactly his character in Prison playbook minus the druggie part. Sorry for the long rant is just kinda annoying that this season some people just complain OVER ANYTHING and Gyeoul's character has become their punching bag :\\\\

actually this season I liked Iksong and WG love line the most. I liked wintergarden's smooth sailing and healthy relationship we need more of this in other kdramas. As for Iksong yeah I know some people are already frustrated with the slowburn but I definitely understand Songhwa like she liked/ still likes Ikjun but it's not easy to be in a romantic relationship with him. A lot has happened since their failed romance in 1999 like they just decided to be longtime friends and now Ikjun has become a single father too. Of course she has to consider Uju too before going into a relationship with him. So much risk to take. But now we see she's about to open her heart again for him like in episode 10 when Ikjun said he will like any gift that's given by her she smiled like as if her heart fluttered. I honestly think ep 11 will be an Iksong centric episode. As for Bidulgi yeah I don't like the writing of their love story this season 2 I expected their break up coming since LDR is hard but I hated how they broke up noble idiocy goshhh and they just dragged Junwan's agony like this season Junwan is so lonely and broken I feel like they're better off apart now but most probably they'll be back together since they still love each other very much. As for gomgom couple imo they just became the repetition of S1 wintergarden like when Minha had an emergency and Seokhyeong came similar to Gyeoul's ER incident where JW secretly came and now SH is leaving for US like how JW was supposed to leave for Italy but the confession happened hopefully there will be a twist about SH and his plans to leave for US and not just another i like you stay by my side scene.

exactly i think the reason why since ep 8 we've been almost two hours duration is because they gonna wrap everything up this season.

I agree with you about how she handled the break up I didn't like that too you know the typical noble idiocy in kdramas but at least she redeemed herself this episode no more beating around the bush and just straight up apologized to junwan and also confessing that she still likes him even after a year. I am not sure how are they gonna wrap up junwan/iksun storyline though most likely they'll definitely be back together maybe in ep 12

jeongwon getting jealous lmaooo i think WG will go public about their relationship soon. Kim Geon might be the catalyst for it

loved this episode but damn why did they make jaehak and his wife suffer like that? 😭 jaehak has gone through a lot of struggles entered med school late because he failed the bar exams six times, got scammed with huge amount of money and now this one 😭 i hope for the last two episodes he will only have good things please he deserves to be happy!!!

Toxicity at its finest! Idk why they they need to end it like this like the writer of this drama basically just romanticized and glorified jaeeon's toxicity. Anyways Song Kang please choose a better romance drama next time because both love alarm and nevertheless ain't it. Hopefully his next project with Park Minyoung will be a good one

After watching ep 9 again my point still stands that I want Junwan to move on from Iksun and find someone else. Seriously he deserves better than what he is getting from her I’m sorry but I’m getting really frustrated at their love line now and it seems like Junwan is still gonna do all the effort for them to be together again 😔🤦‍♀️ even Ikjun is doing more than iksun herself really hope their love story concludes with them having a proper talk and finally move forward separately

next week we'll get to know more about gyeoul's family situation for sure idk how i feel about iksun/junwan tho hope iksun comes clean with junwan too like please tell him everything he deserves to know what really happened

same idk i feel like during the first half the plot is kinda moving forward now it's slowed down a lil bit probably they have decided to continue to s3?

Finally we get to see a tiny glimpse of Songhwa's POV she liked Ikjun but wrong timing got in the way it's safe to say they're going to be the endgame and won't be platonic like Mama Rosa and Jongsu
