So I wanna begin with the story line. The story is honestly poorly constructed, love is forbidden in the heaven realm, and no one is supposed to fall in love, however the whole point of this show is for the for two main leads to fall in love. Like that’s kinda messed up, and it’s usually things like “love is forbidden between immortals and demons” or “love is forbidden between immortals and humans” but in all fantasy shows I’ve seen this is the first show to have this such strange rule. Like if love isn’t allowed in the heavens then where did all of these immortals come from.

The story line doesn’t get any better after they forget their memories. When they go into the mortal world, all of a sudden Yan Dan is considered a “flower demon”, like no, she’s was once a part of the heaven realm and now all of a sudden she’s a demon. And why didn’t she reborn, like she literally just fell from the sky, she was never a baby and she had all her powers.

The only good thing about this show is costuming, and the cast. Obviously people watch it for Yang Zi and Cheng Yi (that’s why I’m here). Honestly not really worth your time.

I didn't know what I was expecting in this show. This show was originally on my watchlist, and I did plan to watch it once it was done airing. I originally intended to watch this show for Yang Zi, because she's a pretty well-known celebrity, however I ended up falling for the character Xiang Liu, and continued to watch the show for him. The story is a little confusing towards the ends but I watched it Xiang Liu.

The beginning of the story was pretty basic and easy to follow. The costuming is also really good. For the first time in Chinese dramaland have I seen a demon wear white, besides Bai Suzhen. The way Xiang Liu appears in all white, makes him look so dashing and gorgeous at the same time.

The music is actually really good yet sad in this show. In this show I obviously ship Xiao Yao and Xiang Liu, and it's really sad that they don't end up together. I've also cried so much on ep 32 or 33 just over Xiang Liu.

One big thing that I would like to point out is the fact that this show deals with demons, mortals, gods, immortals. However, we really only see Xiang Liu use his powers, because he is a demon, yet we never even saw his true form. Even though they are immortals, they act more like mortals.

But personally in my opinion when Xiao Yao is with Xiang Liu, she is more "herself". She can act however she wants and reveal her true self in front of Xiang Liu. But when she is with Tushan Jing, she acts more of like an older sister, because it seems like she has to always care and take care of him.

I’m not really sure what I expected from this drama. to begin with the drama was sort of fast moving. The plot was fast and straightforward: the Di family was framed and Di Ziyuan only wanted to seek justice for her family so she took an identity and used it to reach her goal. Honestly this drama could have been way shorter. We really didn’t need the last 10 episodes. After she exposes the fact she is Di Ziyuan, and her family gets justice then the drama could have just needed. But instead they kept going in and bringing more unnecessary plots and scenes such as linlang and anning dying along with Han ye going blind. These are important key factors to the main plot of the story. And what’s up with her hair turning white, that’s physically not possible

Really good drama. Started off fast, got straight to the points. Jiang Baoning is a princess in which I can't even tell if the king really likes her or not. It seems as if the king does like her, but also seems as if he is using her. Li Qian and Baoning make a good couple. I'm honestly really surprised that they had a really good relationship, until near the end. When Baoning's father is accused of killing Li Qian's mother I was quite shocked that Li Qian didn't hold back his love for Baoning but instead it was Baoning who was chasing his away.

The saddest part of the whole show was none other than the grandmother dying. The costume and makeup in this drama is kind of bad. Alright so Jiang Baoning's hairstyle makes it look like she is from a different country, because the jewelry is wrapped around her head and it doesn't really look nice, When she marries Li Qian, her hairstyle is changed so she doesn't wear the jewelry that like wrapped around her head.

I would also like to point out that Ju Jingyi needs a bit more roles and characters to play as. So far most of the shows I've watched with her in it, she's always playing the cute, and innocent one, who's also smart at some point. We need to see more of her other side as like a antagonist. I've only seen one drama as her as the antagonist and it was really good.

This drama really took a turn and left me speechless. I don't really know how to feel about this drama though, definitely not a show I would come back to watch but I did somewhat enjoy it. I was more interested in the dramas political side about An and Wu emperor, I found it really amusing and how everything happened, and what they would do to try to save him. The ending is a little upsetting for because it honestly doesn't really show any relevance to the story at all.

The fighting scenes, humor especially Yu Shishan, costuming were all superb. I really enjoyed watching a really strong female lead who is very bold, and I loved watching Yang Ying's character development. Li Tongguang's character was also very very interesting to me. I really want to know more of his story because he is so obsessive.

There are a lot of boring scenes in the show where it continues to depict the romance between Red Xin and Ning Yuanzhou but again it is a romance drama, I just wished they had cut a couple of those scenes out. The ending was something not really expected, personally the author could have made it a better ending than everyone just dying in the battlefield. It didn't make it really special because it common in a lot of other cdramas.

The drama was a pretty decent one. There wasn't too many complicated, unnecessary scenes. It was simple and straight to the point. 3 people go on a journey together to explores their origin and the history of their parents. They meet Ziying and the 4 of them hit off pretty well.

The acting in this show is my biggest disappointment. Han Lingsha expressions and actions are exaggerated too much that it makes it seem like Ziying and Mengli aren't putting in any effort into acting at all. Tianhe was the only character who had acting skills that fitted his role, as a man whose never been out of his home and doesn't know a lot of thing. Ziying and Mengli don't really put much effort into their acting, their roles seem very easy to act, to be still and polite.

The costuming of the drama was pretty good. I loved the colors of Qionghua and their outfits were super gorgeous. Lingsha's red outfits were also pretty remarkable. Even though Qionghua is a cultivator sect, there was barely any fighting scenes. Not too bad.

I really shipped Ziying and Lingsha together.

This is your average CEO sits in his office for 30 episodes. The show does not look as good as it portrays. There were several scenes that made me very mad because of how the characters acted and the show itself is pretty boring. It's all about companies having problems and the main leads trying to fix it.

Shi Yan's personality makes me mad. I just can't stand his arrogant person. He thinks that he everyone's deal and is super self centered. I understand that he is a CEO but not everything comes to you. Zheng Shuyi is the complete opposite, when Shi Yan and Shuyi are dating, I feel like it's Shuyi who does all the work in their relationship. It just feels like Shi Yan doesn't care and he puts in no effort at all.

The side casts are not really any better. Shan Shan makes me really mad, it's like she loves Guan Ji, but idk there like toys to each other to play around with. She doesn't care about his feelings at all and pretends she doesn't want him or love when she does everything she can to meet up with him.

This show took me almost half a year to finish because it was just boring and I didn't want to continue to watch it. If it wasn't because the main leads were Bai Lu and Wang Hedi, I would have dropped it a long time ago.

Let’s begin with the story line, it wasn’t the best and I’ve honestly seen better. The first couple of episodes were in like the camp, and all we ever saw was just Liu Ling chasing Shen Yan, and it got so annoying for me to watch. Shen Yan wasn’t giving any reaction and the story wasn’t getting anywhere. All of a sudden Shen Yan just falls in love with Liu Ling, made no sense at all. It just felt like Shen Yan took that chance as in like oh, I can’t stay single my entire life and I have this princess dangling all over me, I’ll just take this chance and make her my wife since she loves me so much.

I don’t know what up with the costumes, like I’ve seen Shen Yan wear the same outfits over and over like he really only has 3 outfits in the entire show, and what’s up with Ling Bi’s outfit. I understand she’s a maid, but she’s a maid of a princess, so Ling Bi’s costume needs look more like she serves the princess.

This whole show was a mess, so this entire entire show so absurd and funny at the same time, with a bit of excitement when watching it. The cast was great, and you start liking the people who help Lu Xhen such as the Empress Dowager, however you start hating her after watching it, and start liking the princess, Xiao Huanyun more. To be honest Xuanyun is a very good person in my opioion.

The entire show was also a ruckus. The only reason why Lu Zhen became a court official was to prove her innocence and get revenge on her dad, however she became a maid and slowly climber up a ladder, so she literally gets revenge near episodes 40, and it literally takes her like 20 minutes to get revenge and it’s over. Like girl you already got your revenge and that’s the only reason why you even entered the palace. But still choosing to stay in the palace, causing even more chaos.

I would really like to complain about the costuming. The colors to the outfit, like different level of court officials wear specific colors is very helpful, however the clothing itself needs an upgrade, and don’t even get me started with the hairstyles, the so called “chopsticks” in their hair. Lol

Now the part that gets me really mad on the show, is literally everyone in the show dies. Like whether their good or bad, literally most of the support leads and main leads die. Like wow, the king and queen die, then empress dowager dies, all the people that we hated in the show dies, like goodness gracious we go through all this trouble and Lu Zhen and Gao Zhan still couldn’t even end up together. Like the show would have been way simpler if the king and queen didn’t die.

Storyline: the beginning of the drama starts out way too slow and confusing, I’d say it starts getting more interesting after like episode 10. The last few episodes were also confusing and really rushed. Scenes were great, costuming, props, everything was awesome.

Music: Love the soundtrack, definitely one of my favorites with several different songs to listen to.
Cast: what makes a drama better is appealing side characters, it’s pretty hard to hate seconds leads if they are good looking

In my opinion I think what could have improved the show was the last few episodes. It’s felt really rushed and it felt like it was going to crash. The ending was way too hasty. It feels like the dram brakes suddenly and it runs right into a wall and ends suddenly. I don’t really like that about dramas when they just have more plots even on the last episode, that ,are you feel like it might not even have time to end there.

Also there’s are probably several parts that we can cut out from the show. For example the entire Jieli and Danyin being twin sisters. I think that part could have been left out, wether they are siblings or not it would have changed the story much. As for Rong Hao he was captured twice and let out twice, that only needed to happen once and then he could have went to save his master.

Best show I’ve seen in 2022 so far. Yea I know it came out in 2016, and I watched it when I was younger and didn’t understand anything , but coming back to watch it years later and oh my god, this is one of the most best modern c-drama.

I think Janice Wu did an absolute wonderful job pulling off the character Tian Jingzhi, I’ve seen her drama on Skate into Love, and gotta say she’s really good at acting, the character, Tian Jingzhi is a really lovable person who has no filter.

The music is amazing, the male leads is also very handsome, and made the show better. Not to mention that what makes a show even more interesting is having good looking cast. Zhan Xuanxuan is also really beautiful, and the other male leads are also great.

Another thing I found really funny was, even though Hong Shiguang was the “bad person”, it was pretty easy to guess he was the bad person, like the very first time he saw Xue Lingqiao really gave it away. Absolutely loved this show, we need a better ending.

To begin with the storyline was very good overall, I loved the characters, especially He Lanjun’s personality. His sarcasm and his and the fact he’s really bold really makes the cherry on top to this whole show. I love the scene when he see Pei Yuntian and they are enemies yet they are very very sarcastic around each other. Su Lianyi on the other hand was kinda like she was gluing herself to the male lead and I didn’t really like that.

I also love how this show revolves on around mini stories. When it started with princess Yong Ning’s problem to The Yun family, to Tai Ping, and competition with another state/country on makeup and beauty. It makes the show a bit more interesting to watch.

Why it wasn’t 10/10:
The ending was that good, although it was sort of like a last episode thing where a bunch of things happen right before the final episode and you don’t know if all problems will get solved on the last episode making it look like there might be a season 2. I hated the fact I didn’t get to see them get married tho.

Very good show, started off fast and got to the straight point. This drama has so much family drama in it, like I don't even understand how the husband Pan Weisen even got through all of this. Shen Changqing is a great person, and it's so sad that she loses literally everyone in this show. What's even more bizarre is the fact in the end she didn't even end up with the male lead. Really good show, although the middle can get really boring since it's just companies fighting against each other and trying to deal with each other and take them down.

Honestly not one of the very best dramas. First to begin with the story was pretty fast, everything moved fast, the story took action, and it began right away. We get introduced to what Sang Qi is trying to do, and what Yan Yunzhi is trying to do, which I really like. After the whole beginning with the whole plot, everything is basically solved. The only thing that is left is to find out how Sang Qi's brother died. Which honestly the story could have legit just ended there. But no there's like more to the story which I find unnecessary. We got the whole wedding and Sang Qi's dad getting arrested, Sang Qi seeing heaven for a slip second, like there's no point. Honestly good drama, but after they fall in love the rest of the story is unnecessary.

This drama was really just off the top. The cast was amazing, Ye Ming and Jin Xingjian really do look like a perfect made couple. I loved Xiao Qing and Lian Xuan. I also love how there are like a few episodes with different couples like the first few were on Xiao Yu and Bai Yushu, and later it focused on Bai Yi and Jia Beile. It honestly really sad and selfish how the main character's do anything for each other whether it hurts the relationship of other people. Like most of the couples didn't really end up having a good ending, racially Xiao Qing and Lian Xuan, I really pitied them. They were really good people but because of the chaos that Ye Ming, Yu Shaobai and Jin Xingjian had caused thousands of years ago, it brought trouble to them as well.

The ending was really not what I had expected, the perfect ending in my opinion would have been all the couples had a happy ending and the Ye family choose to stay because now they are very lonely.

Another thing to point out is that I didn't really like Ye Ming's character through some parts of the story, some parts made it really hard to watch was because the minute she let Yu Shaobai out of the painting she had a feeling she didn't love him, yet she still stayed with him, I hate the fact that she is a bit too stubborn and can't see how other people treats her sometimes.
