I'm still at Ep.9, I came here just to say this, the hell Qi Jia Hao jealous for? I know that grades is important…
I mean he couldn't just outshine Sheng Wang at this point anymore and onwards. The other factor is in regards with his situation with his family, technically his mother.
What do you mean one book? The ending was already part of book 3 tho there's still 12 chapters left that they didn't include in the adaptation. There's 2 more books left. Basically the novel was split into 5 books.
I was wondering why Sheng Wang said he's 17 yrs old. Tho not technically since his birthday is on December 4th, which will happen by the start of their English Camp.
For who had read the novel, so this series is just a half from the novel, isn't it?
The adaptation ended on chapter 58 and that was still part of book 3 til chapter 70 then there's 2 more books left. Basically there's 112 chapters and 5 books in total
Just finished watching EP 12! Props to Benjamin! I wasn't expecting that much emotions yet he delivered it so perfectly! I sure did project how frustrated Jiang Tian was when Sheng Wang moved into class b. That punching the wall scene got me so good. Ahhhh! It's so perfect. It's bittersweet but above all it was perfectly executed!
I also felt sad when I read the part of the novel where SW had to move into class b . But for me they did a good job. I will never complain as I really love the adaptation. I think it's an acquired taste as well. I love bittersweet ending, tho the story is incomplete so I just think of it as a big pause for all of us. There were some changes but they stayed true to the source material, no big plot changes. I know some of you had watched Your Name Engrave Herein, I haven't yet. It was a sad ending as what others were saying. But this time around season 2 is a possibility let's hold onto that hope and wish for the better. Maybe the next step is to read the novel? What do you think? See it for yourself. Have a good day
Nope, that just means they will skip a lot from the source material. They stayed true to it and didn't rushed…
I get what you mean. As myself is confused how is the director wanting so much out of season 1, the ratings and stuff, yet having a very disappointing ending
The end could have been:1. Them confessing their feelings.2. Their parents finding out.3. Them separating. These…
Nope, that just means they will skip a lot from the source material. They stayed true to it and didn't rushed anything. I say thats a good thing but I wonder about others.
Hours ago I was thinking they might get to cover the entire book 3 and ends up with the most awaited kiss. But as what people got disappointed with s1 ended along with chapter 58. 12 chapters more to cover the book that's just sad. Tho, I still love the fact that the ending is bittersweet. Meaning season 2 is good as promised but I wonder about that. The audience might rate them down with this impact of a disappointing ending.
Who added those nasty pics? Ugh remove them. They don't belong here. I don't want to suffer. JT would punch the person who added that here 😭 and you very much deserve that punch.
Taiwanese BLs don't rush things fyi. They never do. And since it's director Patrick he never will
Hey it's fictional remember? Don't forget about that. And who knows there's almost 8 billion people on this planet. If you could really think that much into calculations that isn't farfetched at all. There's so much things you think by doing your own assumptions which is good for you but not for the subject you're talking about

You're clearly mistaken. The times kip won't happen by the last episode. That's what you're worried about. The times kip you're mentioning will happen if possible in season 2. You've just heard it from someone didn't you?
Say, if that was true and will happen in the future that just means more adlibs and subplots to come. Making the story longer.
No one's saying the timeskip will happen that instant and on EP 12? Where'd you get that?
I didnt read the novel but this story has a long way to go. Ep 12 shouldnt be the end.
Not in the works. He just pointed out that s2 script has been made. But he said he's doing his best to have season 2. We have to contribute by watching on legal sites.
