Just wanted to share my thoughts here. I've finished reading the novel and I was quite not satisfied with the ending huhu I was really hoping Jiang Ou would have a heart to heart talk with Sheng Wang even so hoping the four of them Jiang Tian and Sheng Mengyang. Could just let out everything that happened in the past. I've never heard a proper apology for both of the parents to their respective child. I know it's very subjective. It is what it is anyway. To an extent, where I was hoping they would just face what happened in the past perhaps it won't be a proper closure but a step for all of them to air out some pent up frustrations, despair or hatred, whatever they've been struggling within. Tho Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian did uphold their feelings for each other, the parents were left with thorns behind. It was said there was some happiness in it. I just feel sad it wasn't discussed further more openly. All in all it was indeed a very interesting story. I did cried a lot. The boys did struggled so much I would cry when they get emotional esp Sheng Wang's, projecting him as Eric while reading did satisfied me as he really is good at delivering emotions. I feel bad for Jiang Tian. He struggled the most. Sheng Mengyang didn't even apologized. It's just sad that I have so much to complain about. Lol just kidding. But yeah some things left me still hanging. Even so. I guess some stories don't have to end with a proper closure I guess. I have a lot of boys to love now and will always do — Bai Lou Yin, Gu Hai, Jiang Cheng, Gu Fei, Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian. You guys made me happy and sad at the same time. I love you all ❤️
