okay so let me just start with how this drama feels like it’s just the perfect length. no dragging whatsoever. the osts are SO good. obsessed with each and every one of them. I mainly appreciated some things such as - they didn’t let the news being exposed about xiaoyis dad get into the way of their relationship. yeah, of course hu xiu felt bad for a bit and tried to maintain her distance from xiaoyi because of her dad but she always defended him infront of pei zhen, understood him without saying it outright, even called the office so that they don’t overreact in front of them. there’s such a good build up to the relationship part and usually when I watch dramas I get bored when they got together but it really didn’t happen this time around. every interaction they had made me giggle and it was very heart fluttering man. love between line supremacy pls. I just kinda wish we got them being married but the ending was just the best parallel too.
