SUCH A GOOD ROMANTIC DRAMA AFTER SUCH A LONG TIME
okay so let me just start with how this drama feels like it’s just the perfect length. no dragging whatsoever. the osts are SO good. obsessed with each and every one of them. I mainly appreciated some things such as - they didn’t let the news being exposed about xiaoyis dad get into the way of their relationship. yeah, of course hu xiu felt bad for a bit and tried to maintain her distance from xiaoyi because of her dad but she always defended him infront of pei zhen, understood him without saying it outright, even called the office so that they don’t overreact in front of them. there’s such a good build up to the relationship part and usually when I watch dramas I get bored when they got together but it really didn’t happen this time around. every interaction they had made me giggle and it was very heart fluttering man. love between line supremacy pls. I just kinda wish we got them being married but the ending was just the best parallel too.Was this review helpful to you?

cute comfort drama
three years on mdl and this is my first time writing a drama review, maybe i should write more. first of all, starting this i didn’t have anything in mind just the fact that i like zhou yiran and zhuang dafei both as really nice upcoming actors. the story is not that cliche as much as you see nowadays it’s not a dumb girl smart boy or good girl bad boy trope it’s just like normal people?? like both of true main characters are how you see real people going on in their day to die life. they both have trauma but they’re both really mature about it and help each other get over it together. usually what you see is a mid relationship crisis where they have to cope and some misunderstanding happens while they’re dating but i’m so glad they don’t have that. when lin yujing’s mother tells her to break up with shen juan she thinks about it but never like considers it really? i mean she does cause of her mothers health but they’re always in each others future plans no matter what and shen juan being there to explain it to her mother is so nice and just really helps not create any other misunderstandings. the thing i most like about this drama is that they’re both just on the same foothold? no one is superior than anyone and they’re both so sure of each other and that’s really how an ideal relationship should be, it’s like a dream high school bench mates to college relationship trope.Was this review helpful to you?

the only thing i like about this drama is the face of the male lead and this drama does not do justice to the trope friends to lover like i don’t know it’s like they don’t know each other at all how where they even friends back in high school 😭 i can’t even have second lead syndrome here cause the second lead also starts doing weird stuff istg. a total waste of time. i went into this hoping a nice youth to adult life drama but it basically makes me wanna rip all of my hair out?? like maybe the best couple of this drama was her friend who had a ten year long relationship but even that wasn’t really goodWas this review helpful to you?
