I'm a bit disappointed because I feel like one of the messages of the original drama is that anyone at any age (and any circumstance) can find love. I know they are doing this in the remake with Francesca and "Top Sales" man but I feel like the message really hits home if the main character trying to find love is 30+ single over-dramatic man-child still living with his mom. That's one of the reasons why I loved the original drama because I felt like it appealed to every age group. Of course I'm not trying to be harsh on this remake (I don't think it's THAT bad or bad at all. I think it improved in a lot of areas concerning the secondary characters however it lost the chemistry between the two MLs.

Even though this drama is not perfect and has some faults, we can't deny the impact it has made in the world of bl dramas especially japanese ones. I will always love this series

Also, I'm curious on why they changed the ages of Tin/Haruta in this drama. In the original, Haruta is 33, and in the remake I think they said Tin is 27 (not sure)? The reason why the original show is called ossan love is because the show is about an ossan trying to find love. Ossan is a term in Japan for describing men past their 30's. So Haruta/Tin is suppose to be 30+. I'm not trying to nitpick, I'm just wondering why they changed the ages. Was this change made to appeal to the youth crowd?

I know I'm in the minority opinion on this, but I didn't really like Edan Lui's performance of Tin/Haruta. I felt like the original japanese actor was more natural in acting dramatic/over the top that didn't feel too fake or cheesy. Not trying to diminish Edan Lui's skills, he is a VERY talented man, but he couldn't really sell me on Tin. Yes, I know he's part of a boy's group and he's not really an actor, but Anson Lo is too and I liked his performance of Siu Muk.

i agree... even though i'm liking this remake so far, they are focusing more on the straight couples than Tin and Siu Muk. I was hoping that this remake would add more scenes with Tin and Siu Muk to flesh out their relationship but so far the straight couples are getting more shine. If they can add in more scenes with Ping and Carmen, I don't see why they can add more scenes with Tin and Siu Muk. This show has 5 episodes left so I hope we see some change.

yea pls take the tags seriously. it's more fucked up than you think it is. hated the movie at first and thought it was some edgy bs until i read an review explaining what the director was trying to convey in this movie. The movie is simply a critique on south korean society and how rape is not taken seriously in civilian and military life. it's also a critique on the korean family unit and dynamics. i can kinda see how now so i no longer hate the film but i am still disgusted lol

It's one sided. Tae wan loves Jin Sung but Jin Sung loves the FL. They don't end up together.

Not really in my opinion. Some people may disagree but I see this movie more as a bromance than a BL story
