Can someone explain to me why I shouldn't be annoyed af at that abrupt, messed-up, inconclusive ending? Felt like…
I think the issue is that it is impossible to adapt the entire manga storyline within 2 hours, therefore the time jumps were necessary (albeit I do agree it was a bit much). While I agree the ending seemed a bit abrupt, I think it's obvious the ending was set up like that to tease a sequel film to finish the rest of the story. I thought the Kieta's holding back with the kissing was a purposeful character acting decision to show Sugiki's hesitance to fall in love again. I truly don't think Machida Keita is homophobic, and I would say the cherry magic kiss fiasco was mainly Akaso Eiji's fault but I understand why you might find the movie a bit underwhelming.
ryoma and kieta's chemistry IS INSANE!!! ngl i thought this was going to be another cookie cutter bl adaptation but i'm truly impressed! literally a 10/10!
everyone talking about riku, but i would love to see yuki shun in more stuff! I wouldn't mind watching another BL pinku film centering him, i think his acting is quite nice ^-^
ngl i had low expectations but the series was really fun and enjoyable to watch! the dynamic between ryoma and haruto is this show's gem and i couldn't get enough of it. however, i realized this show could have been a lot more. i know this show is supposed to be another typical BL drama but i wish the show delve into more interesting topics/cases. for example, i thought it was really interesting they mention tokyo kids and how haruto would take care of them. i kinda wish we knew more about the kids, their background, and etc. unfortunately, the cases were either pretty boring or downright silly. i know, i know - these type of shows aren't meant to be super serious but i felt like having a stronger over-arching story would have elevated this show a lot more. still, i find ryoma & haruto's relationship super cute and all of the actors did a really great job. i just wish they had better material to work with
i enjoyed the first part of film until the second half. idk why but the change in tone didn't do it for me. i also felt like a lot of the characters seemed a bit one note. still a decent film! i really like mr. kurosawa's films, i just wish this one went a bit further... btw i absolutely loved sano and lmao @ the girlfriend character
😭😭😭 i couldn't stop smiling at the end!!! it's been such a fun journey watching harutan & maki form their own family ;3 going to miss this show so much!!!
Actually I didn't even see many faults with this series when I first saw it some time ago, though now I see it…
hahaha i can't blame u! i couldn't help but tear up at the ending :3 btw have you seen the new season yet? icb we finally got another one after so many years...! the first episode has exceeded all of my expectations!
