I never normally enjoy Korean high school dramas bcuz they're always dramatic and HELLA unrelatable, and honestly I thought this was gonna be the same. But oh boy, was I surprised. This drama is seriously such a nice treat for all of us kdrama fans this year :,) Let's just hope that it stays as amazing till the end.
I haven't watched any other kdramas this year with such an unpredictable and addicting plot. Like, I just can't seem to picture what's gonna happen next and how the ending will be... I haven't felt like this for a drama for such a long time.
The 2nd ep wasn't as bad as what the most comments said. Yes, there is sexual harrasment and whatnot but I've seen so many other popular BL where this same type of stuff happens. Yeah, it's disgusting but its actually pretty common in BLs and Idk why they even put that in the stories. I just want a BL with a proper romantic story like how boyxgirl stories are made.
However, I do think that the 2nd ep is better than the 1st ep. Just ignore the negative comments, and watch it. Plus, it's just a fiction-- nothing serious.
Wow, I enjoyed the first episode much more than I thought I would! The chemistry is really good. Though, BL chemistry never really failed me. The leads ALWAYS have amazing chemistry in BLs dramas.
The webtoon had a much more serious tone to it than what it seems to be in the drama posters and teasers. However, it makes me more excited for the drama because I'm not a fan of edgy or serious high school stories.
I really want to watch this for the secondary couple but I'm not even a tad bit interested in the main couple since I didn't like them in season 01. I don't know what to do XD
I love how Korea is finally making dramas about corporate women so positively as they used to always make dramas about naive women being totally helpless without the help of a man.
About this drama, I loved a lot of things in it. I loved the three main characters-- Bae Tammy, Cha Hyun, Song Ga Kyung-- and their chemistry a lot. They were these idealistic strong people who I really admired throughout the drama. I adored the gorgeous cinematography and the OSTs which went so well with each scenes. As for the romance aspect, I have to say, the romantic scenes between Tammy and Park Mo Geun were very hot BUT I mostly found them to be a snoozefest because of Park Mo Geun's one dimensional character. However, it was also maybe because I absolutely LOVED the second couple. Their scenes were very less, but every single one of them were so cute!
All in all, I quite recommend this drama for its main aspect-- Woman Empowerment. Besides, the other aspects weren't bad either. It was quite enjoyable, exciting and heart-warming at the same time. 8.5/10.
So, I have this question that has been bugging me ever since about this drama.
Can someone PLEASE explain to me WHY is Shin with Miw and Neo? I mean, he didn't really do anything that he would be running away with them too. I'm super confused and I can't seem to be totally invested into this drama because of that.
To those who dropped this drama only for the cheap CGI, y'all are really SERIOUSLY missing out.
I've seen much MUCH worse CGI than this. Much worse, that I couldn't take a serious scene seriously no matter how much I tried. This drama, in my opinion, has a very decent CGI. It doesn't look too realistic, and doesn't look too cringey at the same time. This drama is not definitely popular for the CGI or such details but the amazing plot and characters it has.
So if you really dropped this drama for the bad CGI (according to you), think again. I mean seriously, think twice before you totally drop this. At first few episodes, you'll be ticked off for that but after some time, you'll be literally obsessed with this beautiful one hell of a drama.
It ends after ep 32. But don't be too much of in a hurry, the flashback provides lots of contextual bg to what…
No, I definitely am not skipping episodes since I'm enjoying the flashback very much. I just wanted to know how much longer the flashback goes on since it seemed like most of the drama was taken up by the flashback :)
Just like most other good c-dramas with a huge amount of episodes, you need to watch multiple episodes to completely get hooked to this drama. At first episode, I considered dropping it as it didn't interest me at all. But I still decided to continue and now I'm currently at the 10th episode and I can't stop watching! I'm totally hooked to it. It has an amazing and fascinating story and I love the characters! The chemistry between the leads is phenomenon-- only wished China didn't have this stupid 'censorship' thing.
Why did the new trailer make it look like Hee Young likes Sun Oh lol but I think that would have been far much better than an unrealistic love triangle of two guys liking the same girl and fighting over her.
