It is also very traumatizing for young ro because she had gone through a lot. Lost her mother and brother, hated by her friends/dormmates, her dad was shitty + was jailed, her stepmother did not even care for her at all, was held hostage for days (take note that they always pointed a gun to her head), and most of all, she lost sooho whom she loves and protected the most.
I mean basically, the writer killed her. She would live the rest of her life with that experiences and losses. As we all know, the ones who are left are the most in pain. I cannot even imagine living as young ro with that pain.
With all honesty, it just prolonged the main character's agony... why make it 16 episodes of trying but in the end, he just died :(( they could have at least made him survive.
Young ro's dad ordered to blow up the dorm :(( the president pressured him by saying that there is a general that even killed his wife and children before going to a war. Idk anymore this is so tragic.
I have the same thoughts as you. During earlier episodes, he initially didn't want to kill all of the hostages…
Now that you have mentioned it, in the preview young ro's father was saying through the walkie talkie that "I want to help you get out alive" and young ro said that she will ride in the same car. Definitely, he already planned something. Just hoping that it is a genuine gesture and no one would ruin it.
Since young ro's dad is still alive, he might have a big plan in order to save everyone in the dorm. I am still hoping that his conversation with his daughter had an impact to him (like young ro is blaming herself for everything, wherein he knows that it is a scheme done by the government) and seeing his determined and mad eyes upon knowing that nam tae il tried to kill him, young ro's father would definitely do something (just hoping that it will save everyone).
After all, he is a father before being someone in the government.
Hye ryeong might be the NK spy. In the earlier episodes, she kept on insisting that "she needs to study abroad" like as if her life depends on it.
NK elite spies like soo hoo and Dr. Kang has a strong educational background that makes them approach affluent people more easily.
Also, Hye Ryeong kept on dating people who are like rich and someday can be a person who can climb up the ladder in th government just like that one guy she dated.
I really hope that I am wrong since the bond of room 207 is a breather amidst the chaos 🥺
