You don't have to be lovers to abuse someone emotionally. A mother can emotionally abuse her child, a teacher their student, a bully their victim. It's fine if you like the show but to say he wasn't cruel to her is wild.

I'm sorry but "all he did was ignore her for 3 years and have them live separate lives" is literally emotional abuse. Ignoring/silent treatment is a well known tool abusers use and it's cruel.

Disappointed. The plot is there and I was excited to watch but the way this is written is absolutely boring. I don't feel the chemistry between the characters and that's not the actor's fault, it's the writing that's the problem. Dropped at episode 4.

Yes I watched I Am Not a Robot a few years ago and that was not an easy role to play at all and she nailed it. I truly think she's talented!

I saw someone below said Chae Soo Bin didn't deliver during the kiss scene and I couldn't disagree more! This is a character who's believed for years that her husband hated her and now he's kissing her passionately. Of course he is going to be the more forward and dominant one in a kiss he's been secretly wanting for years, and she's going to be in disbelief that this is actually happening because she always believed he felt nothing for her. I think she played it so perfectly and is a wonderful actress. You can really feel everything she's feeling in that last scene!

Good kiss but Yoo Yeon Seok has never disappointed me in a kiss scene and Chae Soo Bin matched his intensity. Just in case any other kdrama actors or directors are confused, THIS is what a romantic kiss looks like when you're trying to sell me a romance, hope this helps. Kudos to the actors!

WOW never been so dissapointed to see a cast change. I started this show despite the bad reviews and the first two seasons were literally GREAT but I cannot with these new cast members! Thankfully season 2 has enough closure for me to move on without feeling like I'm missing too much but damn.

Not all female friends are out to steal your man, this is fiction. Female friends can be the best soulmates you've ever had. If anything it's the male friends you have to look out for because they almost always have ulterior motives.

Listen to me this show is so good! The writing is on point. I understand now why this show has a bad rating on here. Because it's not your run of the mill corny romance that people love on here. But it's not a bad show. It's simply not going to deliver the unrealistic romantic fantasy that a lot of kdrama viewers are looking for, where everyone lives happily ever after. That's not what this show is about. It's right there in the title. So if that's what you're expecting, you should probably get the hell outta here. But for everyone else, you should really give it a shot. The characters are layered, their actions make sense for the way they've been characterized (even if you don't like them), and the narrative is gripping. Onto season 2!

The way I took it was that they were married and in love, she knew he was bisexual and didn't care. It was her mother who cared and destroyed their marriage because of it.
