No character or story development throughout
This is the most disappointing drama I have ever watched, as someone who likes slow burn romance, and also the lighting of the drama as well the OSTs the whole drama was a big dissapointment with no proper character development whatsoever for any of the leads and definitely no real story progress happens either and this drama doesn't even contain anything much about jobs of the main leads to keep story interesting and romance alone isn't compelling eitherOverall very boring and plain drama something I never expected from BJT or ZRN!(I love most of their other dramas so expected better here)

Great start but fell off greatly in the last 10 episodes
Pursuit of Jade started off as one of the most anticipated dramas of the year and truly lived up to its potential at least until the last 10 episodes, yet the screenplay and the effects, along with fight scenes throughout, were quite comprehensive and done neatly. Yet it somehow lost the track towards the last leg of the drama which means that there was not a satisfactory ending but even after that the whole premise and building of the story until like the 20th episode was so perfect in so many ways and continued to be so until the last 10 episodes but even after that I had give it a 10 simply because the ML x FL remained as closely knit as always throughout protecting and loving each other and that is what defines the show. Changyu truly was the Jade which had the name "Yan Zheng".Was this review helpful to you?
Life is only for those who want to Live
This is one of those dramas that catches you off guard completely, it's quite entertaining in all aspects and you won't be bored especially because of BJT's character has such a charm with a cute side and really straightforward character that you'll love for sure and pair it up with a typical yet specialized Janice Wu fun yet cool character you get a drama for ages and that is not all, this drama has lot of veteran actors from the dramaland all of who impress in different points of time throughout the drama. Overall, this is one of the dramas that delivers in the finest way possible, yet keeping its minimalistic style throughout and thus bringing out a super fun and heartwarming watch with a satisfactory ending in all ways.This is one of my favourite dramas, it gave me similar vibes to that of Hometown ChaChaCha , Meet Yourself and If You Wish Upon Me, all of which are amongst my favs and no doubt this one is as well!

I didn't believe in love pre "Forever and Ever" - Comfort Watch (with infinite rewatch value)
This is not just drama, this is life's greatest happiness you can have not money or power but love which lasts "Forever and Ever". The perfection of this drama does not lie in its story but the portrayal of The Beautiful Relationship between Shi Yi and Zhou Sheng Chen, this is not your typical cute romance or forbidden romance yet it fill your heart with wanting for more and more in a way you'll want your own Shi Yi/Zhou Sheng Chen in your life after all who couldn't want someone like them in their lives.The Music matches the overall theme perfectly and captures their love which is beyond description in a just few words. Still, I'll suggest everyone to hear the OST - Give you, GIve me by Mao Buyi the lyrics of the song perfectly captures the key essence of the drama, that is "They will share anything no matter - good or bad , small or big , important or not , ordinary or special , joy or sorrow and give each other comfort in terms of needs and compromise without actually compirising" They don't love each other any less not even a tiny bit!
Overall this is one of my favourite shows with unlimited rewatch value and very calm and comfort show you can watch whenever you want to relax or just want to watch soemthing beautiful
