The FL was really haughty and condescending, and the ML was way too nice. It wasn't that easy to root for either of them but love found them in the end. I didn't dislike it, but wouldn't strongly recommend it as it has a lot of frustrating moments. Despite my review, I can see why it was such a rage back in the day.
Tomo used to be so FINE in his younger days.. *fangirls* EDIT - Just found out he was only 20 in this drama :0 All those kiss scenes and sex scenes were really steamy. They just don't make these kind of passionate love stories anymore.
Hmm I've not watched much J dramas on folk tales so I don't have any recommendations, but you can try this Korean drama called Legend: Story of First King's Four Gods.
