The ML is such a selfish prick though. He wants to cheat and love another, yet acted all confused and reluctant when the wife asked for a divorce.
Same with the FL. I completely understand when she said her feelings changed. But why not get a divorce instead of continuing the whole affair arrangement. Also the fact that she said such a insensitive thing to her mother, calling her out for not understanding her father's affair.
Like wow this film didn't even try to play the pity game but went straight for this is reality and we're cheating and we don't give a fuck. I liked it lol, though I didn't like the leads.
Also WTF is that ending?! I don't even understand why they killed each other after all that they went through. It's like the writer / director purposely killed them off to give the story and their love some depth. HOW STUPID.

A film about two middle-aged married adults consumed by passion and desire for one another, with lots of nudity and sex. While this is your usual cheating story, it takes it a step further with two selfish leads who have the audacity to justify what they did and blame others for not understanding them.
Even though the film lacked depth, I guess it's worth a watch for the natural acting and chemistry between the leads.

especially with the addition of the twin brother. I am just wondering, could they not have relayed the message via another plot device? It kinda threw me off. It almost made me feel like if they were gonna go for the twin trope which is really melodramatic, they should not have done a special at all.

I like that the special continued from the drama in it's focus of being what you want to be and living without regrets, but I have to say that I don't think the special was needed [see spoiler]
I recommend it only if you love the characters and want to see them in their element together once again. Especially loved the last 15 mins of the 2nd episode for the chemistry between the leads <3

Likeable mature characters sprinkled with lots of growth and character development for everybody, an inclusive workplace and a very wholesome romance, this was just what life should be; inspiring, heartwarming and fun!
Special mention for whoever that designed the company logo, makeup palette and all the products - I would definitely buy it if it existed. Great design!
Suzuki Airi is an actress to look out for.
Highly recommend this simple sweet gem for all :)

I've gotten used to it. She may not be there for me when I really need her emotionally because she's just unexpressive or closed up in that aspect but she's kinda still there physically doing the same little things for me each day. I guess that's the way she expresses her love for me. My brother is kinda similar too. They're not there, yet there.
When I was younger it was more conflicting and frustrating though I couldn't fully express that frustration because it's not like she was doing anything wrong you know.
Damn this is hard to explain HAHA.

Though formulaic and a little simplistic at times, it made for an easy watch after a long tiring day. Warm, cozy, and pleasant. Binged it at one go, thanks to all the characters and the very adorable pairing of Haru and Mamiya Shotaro who had so much chemistry even when they were doing nothing at all <3
Special mention for the unique direction and style and ending song - perfect for the drama! Don't skip the ending song as it's different each time.

My mum is exactly like that so I relate HAHA

Really? I watched her in Iribito recently and she delivered such a stellar performance.

She hardly had any dialogues in Iribito but delivered such a stellar performance by conveying so much with her eyes. Also, she's got a really magnetic screen presence, which is rare. She will go far.

I COMPLETELY AGREE! I don't get the hate for Minato at all. Even though I don't agree with what he did, I understand where he's coming from. He doesn't have confidence in himself and in Tsumugi. He's always been told he's second fiddle to her and over time, he's bought that though his heart wants otherwise. In real life, people don't always choose the most ideal or the right way to do things. People are complex and have their reasons for what they do even if we can't comprehend it. He's just human and in his way, did what he thought was right, not realising that its probably gonna hurt Sou and especially Tsumugi, who was sincere with him.
