This was a good drama. We're used to the stereotype of men having strong sexual urges with the whole womanizer image so many idolize, but women have urges too & it's time that we don't scutinize them for it. I've seen a ton of infidelity dramas where the woman wasn't happy and decided to have an affair thereafter. While this falls under that umbrella, I found this different from most of them in this genre. This was no masterpiece, but it is one of those dramas that made me feel like I was watching a book come to life.
I like that this focused a lot on what was going on in the FL's mind & how that shaped her actions. She didn't ever try to justify her actions, but was well aware of what she was doing. I hardly say this about such dramas, but I do think many would relate to what she was feeling. It was very real & I empathized with the emptiness & perplexity she felt. She'll stay with me for some time, and I'll wonder about how she's doing. The ending was PERFECTION, easily one of the best conclusions I've seen to a drama of this genre, where she chose not to let society define her.
Mikuzawa Asami was stellar as the FL, and so was the rest of the cast. I'm always amazed by the poetic depiction of the mundane in J dramas & this was no different. All in all, it was an interesting & engaging drama that I'd recommend to an open & mature audience who can take it.

90% of J dramas are fan subbed so it depends on which subber subbed it. On most of the J drama pages on MDL you’ll find a comment from either of us stating who the subber is & the link to the episodes. It’s a small community so the episodes are not hard to find.
