I personally loved this. It was not without its flaws but for me, it was a lovely drama through & through. Go & Satomi’s beautiful acting & chemistry coupled with the A1 score really carried this drama. Also I really loved their characters. Rintaro was a sweet, gentle man & Mio was absolutely lovely in such a delicate way. I’d highly recommend this for anyone that wants to watch a sweet, heartwarming love story that isn’t too complicated. Can’t wait to watch the special episode!
E10. Their relationship is adorable. I loved them together. Not a fan of the whole break up trope, but surprisingly I didn't hate it here. Looking forward to the last episode, I'll miss this drama. Hope Ren gets a chance with his crush XD
Wait, when was Hase a client? I don't remember that
OK I must have misunderstood.. need to go re-watch the older episodes because I thought that she did have an online session with him. Didn't he back out for Kurumi because she had a thing going on with Shun?
I’m really loving the questions they raise & capture each episode through Iruma’s non-existent nephew. E7 was amazing - HATS OFF. A rare legal drama that has impressed me.
8 episodes in, it is somewhat tropey and cliched but the execution is done just right that makes the romance swoony and satisfying. I am enjoying this for the light entertainment it brings me.
E7. Beautifully real and moving. I think everybody would relate to Kurumi and her mum's relationship. Sometimes we say things that may be harsh, but at the end of the day, we always want the best for the people we love.
I am absolutely loving how the love triangle is playing out in this drama. It is so so refreshing, and believable.
Kurumi and Shun's relationship is developing beautifully, at just the right pace with both of them learning to trust each other and communicating their feelings, insecurities & sharing the little joys & pain of being together. It's GOALS but in a real way.
Not a fan of the therapist and Hase getting into a relationship since she was a client, but it's a drama so I guess whatever..
J dramas this year have been freaking amazing. They're always good but this year has some of my favorites :)
well in the new version, poor lady at least got somewhat of a happy ending
Haha yes she is. She was an extremely popular and brilliant actress from the 90s. Please do watch more of her work from the 90s. I absolutely love her.
E6. Damn I love Shun, but I definitely fell for Hayama too, like I can totally see why Mashiba admired him for so long. I would, too. It was really inspiring to see him live 'today'. Most of us don't do that, and put our dreams/plans on hold for a tomorrow, which Hayama rightfully said may never come. Too bad that came in between his love for Kurumi, but still I appreciated that he didn't use his feelings to tie her down, knowing fully well that he is not in the space currently where he wants to be tied down or make false promises. And I think Kurumi fully understands that even though Hayama never said it outrightly. It seems like Shun adopted a minimal lifestyle as a defence mechanism, that he uses to remind himself not to be tied to anything, be it people or things. I love how Kurumi was able to sense that, and communicated her feelings to him directly. I love that she constantly communicates and is very clear-headed.
I’d highly recommend this for anyone that wants to watch a sweet, heartwarming love story that isn’t too complicated.
