E5. I wanna slap that male president. I absolutely loved Omameda Towako's reply to him. You may have failures in life, but there is no such thing as a failed life. GO WOMAN!
Seriously, this will go down as one of my favourite rom-coms. I appreciate how they keep proving us wrong with…
Also had to mention that the casting for the younger leads is PERFECT. Like young Karibe, Jun, Minami, Aiko actually look like the older actors, esp Karibe :)
Seriously, this will go down as one of my favourite rom-coms. I appreciate how they keep proving us wrong with each episode (misleading previews).. like if I had to plot this show in a graph, it would be an upward trend all the way. It just kept getting better with each episode.
On to the episode, I loved the focus on Karibe & Kogo’s relationship, and how it came to be. It was really moving. And Karibe’s sincere confession to Aiko, it stole my heart really. Appreciate how we came full circle on Karibe’s comment that romance isn’t something he does, rather something he draws. That ending was absolutely PERFECT. The side characters are really fun too. They’re likeable and quirky.
I’m gonna miss this a lot when it ends next week. Hope Ren gets his happy ending too hehehheee
1 minute and trash can. Ishihara Satomi deserves so much better than this ...
I’ve been watching dramas for 20+ years & I’ve never been able to tell how good or bad a drama is within 1 minute.. I don’t expect you to love it the way I do but judging a drama based on it’s first minute is not fair. This is just my opinion.
Wow, this was fantastic. What an ending! I enjoyed this so much. It was painfully real, yet so quirky & engaging. A1 writing, score & acting. Anyone that enjoys watching satires or social commentaries, this is a MUST WATCH! Highly recommended :)
The spin-off involves side characters. It airs after the drama. Most J dramas these days have spin offs where they place the focus on the side characters & their stories.
E8. An emotionally stirring episode for sure. I loved how everyone in the lab protected Mio. And Rintaro, OH MY HEART, he’s so so kind, protective & gentle with Mio it just makes the whole situation they’re in even more sad. I hope he’s not left alone in the end. Seriously Ayano & Ishihara have hit it out of the park with this drama; what started of as just a light (not to be taken too seriously) drama, ended up being a really beautiful one.
Not a fan of the ending of E8 but I’ll wait to see how it all plays out in the finale. I am not ready for this to end :(
LMAO i was about to watch this but this comment I-
Well don’t take my word for it. For all you know, you might end up loving it. Give it a try & see if it’s for you. The option to drop is always there :)
I wish there were more dramas that projected the way counsellors / mental health professionals work accurately.…
First, he suspected that she was stalking him & chose to be ignorant about it rather than addressing it with her & trying to understand how he could resolve it. Secondly, he didn’t prepare her for rejection & tried to ensure that she was ready to listen to him & outrightly rejected her without even listening to her story & how she felt. Thirdly, after she cut off the call like that, he didn’t take any steps to check up on her to see how she was doing & let her reach that stage of self-harm.
I doubt he even documented the whole process or let alone speak to a supervisior which itself is unethical.
Also the fact that he took on a friend as a client itself is a huge boundary crossing that required even more attention & care.
Lot more issues, but these are the ones relating to your question.
