I love that what started as a comic element of everybody getting a divorce has transformed into something empowering…
It was such a pleasant surprise to have Koichi say 'let's not divorce' when he was the one running away from communicating with her the whole episode. It takes a man to place her needs & being there for her, over his own insecurities & fears.
And Saki is beautiful. Inside out. I loved how she constantly was in check & aware of the discomfort he might feel & made it a point to constantly check on his feelings.
They are such a lovely pair seriously. I am loving them as individuals & as a couple.
I love that what started as a comic element of everybody getting a divorce has transformed into something empowering & heartwarming. I am enjoying this drama more & more as this progresses. E4, yet again, proved how much the leads are adults in the way they communicate & navigate through their lives. They are such a lovely pair, and I appreciate that this show doesn't gloss over what makes a marriage - communication & understanding. It's not all about love, but so much more than that. Kudos to the other women as well, who want to take a step forward in their life & live for themselves, despite the fact that the society they live in frowns upon divorce.
WOW this had everything going for it, from the fantastic cast to the genius screenwriter/director but it was such a let down. Probably the only work from Fukuda Yuichi that I've not enjoyed. I really wanted to like it, but I'm sorry it was BORING. I had to drop it. I usually love musicals, but this one was badly timed / executed.
I KNEW IT! IT WAS AIKO!!! HE LOVED AIKO!!ALSO THAT HUG! KYAAAAAAA THEY DIDN'T WANT TO LET GO!! URGH THOSE STUPID…
YES I DID!!! IT WAS SO ADORABLEEEE <3 You can already see that Ren is a shipper of the leads, with the way he said they matched well hehehehehe! Wouldn't it be awesome if he does something to get them together!!
I quite liked the first 2 episodes & the cast. Refreshing to see the spotlight on rookie doctors & the uglier side of medicine (beyond politics in the hospital or the nobility around saving lives). It was really hard watching them try their best, with the doctors doing little to assist these rookies with their transition & training. You can't blame the doctors either given the pressure they face & the little time they get to help patients. Looking forward to see these rookies navigate through their life in the hospital.
