Yuri getting 15 years in prison despite killing the abusive husband of her close friend really shows how much…
It was Satako who was abused, not Yuri. That's why the 15 years. Because she planned it and had a clear intention to kill. The law does not pardon someone with a malicious intention to kill. Had Satako been the one to kill her husband, it would count as self-defence and she would have gotten a reduced sentence. Unfortunately, that's the price Yuri had to pay for her friendship.
Finally caught up with the whole series. This was FANTASTIC. There couldn't have been a better title than 'Influence' for this drama. Unlike sappy and positive stories of friendship, this was a twisted tale of friendship (and even love). Well-rounded storytelling filled with complex and layered characters that kept my interest throughout. It was a great psychological mystery / suspense. Highly recommended for anyone who is into this genre. It will teach you a thing or two about the way our actions and decisions are often 'influenced' by the variables in our life (in this case it was friendship / love & society partly).
NOTE: To enjoy this, don't judge them from your moral compass or your understanding of what friendship is, & what is right / wrong.
i think they are a great couple .at least both of them trying to tolerate with each other and make changes unlike…
I completely agree! Despite their differences, both of them clearly did put in effort for each other, and that made it endearing. I definitely think they are a good couple.
Picture Eita rescuing you from the mountains like that, I don't blame Saki for falling in love at first sight…
OMG I wasn't expecting her to be accused of power harrassment. Oops! That got really heavy with the way the co-worker tried to hide her lack of ability by blaming the FL for being too pretty. Saki appears confident, but clearly is a lonely person. She has self-esteem issues (that shot of her in the rain alone or in school alone) or the way she didn't scream at the co-worker & then felt sad over it (rather than angry).. there is clearly a lot of neglect she's felt / gone through. Her family appeared dysfunctional as well. No wonder she wanted her own family and kids (something to call her own clearly)
I wasn't expecting him to meet her ex in gym. Oops! I hope this won't be a love triangle. I really want to see a drama with the leads focusing on their marriage & how they can be better rather than fending off 3rd parties. Pretty please, let's resolve this in an episode or two.
The leads want a divorce OMG. That was a quick! I like it. But I hope we won't spend the entire drama on this process, with them getting together only at the end. That shot of him placing the umbrella under her & apologizing, I FREAKING LOVED IT! And then the way he protected her, I fell in love with him!!! And the hug and calling himself her husband, KANPEKI!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA looks like all of them want a divorce. LOVE IT. Great twist lol.
So many bombs in the first episode, that's a lot of material we have to cover. Looking forward to how it all plays out!
Picture Eita rescuing you from the mountains like that, I don't blame Saki for falling in love at first sight lol. Coming to the episode, it's not just the hairstyle but the character itself is so different from anything I've seen Eita play. I love how his rigidity and routine was contrasted with her optimism & willingness to accommodate. In fact, I could see both of them doing their best for each other despite being polar opposites. There were a lot of laugh out moments, but it was equally heartwarming at parts. They make quite a good pair, and I can't wait to see their hijinks through this journey of marriage. Also, both families were hilarious at the reception, I can't wait for them to lock heads with each other HAHA! Also major respect for the ML's mother who doesn't see old age as an end, rather believes in living without regret.
This has the potential to be a great romcom and family drama. I loved it!
I wasn't feeling this in the first 2 episodes but it really picked up in the 3rd episode. It was a well done mystery that had me guessing till the end. I was shocked by who did it (who would have even guessed?!) The story was unique & the chemistry between the leads was beautiful (as with J dramas from the 90s). The ending really moved me. Recommended for anyone that wants to watch a good psychological mystery / suspense packed with some romance.
Wtf is this show and why it was even made? I am pretty sure by now that Japanese people are not that good at acting…
You are free to dislike this drama, but don't make generic comments saying that Japanese are not good actors etc. I'm more than happy to recommend Japanese dramas & movies that will show you phenomenal acting.
