I'm amazed by how much they can tell within a 10 minute episode. I enjoyed this & loved all the twists in each episode. I hope they can make this into a longer drama or special because the story had a lot of potential & deserves to be explored :)
Sounds like Kyojo except that was centred around the police academy & this one around the legal profession. Hope it's as fantastic as Kyojo. And no romance, please.
WAIT how did you discover Yamapi so recently? He is iconic. (Unless you are new to J dramas)
I'll recommend 1 from different genres. Hit me up for more if you like these :)
Nijiro Karute (slice of life) Tengoku to Jigoku : 2 Psychos (mystery) 3 Nen A Gumi (psychological) Nagi's Long Vacation (self-love) Sekai Ichi Muzukashii Koi (romcom) In This Corner of the World Zeni Geba (revenge) Kokoro no Kizu wo Iyasu to Iu Koto (mental health) Remolove (COVID & intimacy, relationships) Ore No Ie No Hanashi (comedy & family) Kyou Kara Ore Wa (comedy) Soredemo Ikite Yuku (tragedy) Karei Naru Ichizoku (2007) (business & family) Aishiteiru to Ittekure (romance) Quartet (2017) (friendship)
I would say watch the drama first even though this is a prequel to the drama. Reason being, this is slow & you may not feel invested in the characters. The whole thing may even seem pointless at some points. But if you watch with the drama at the back of your mind, you'll find more meaning & value to the characters' actions & interactions.
I watched the drama & loved it, only to realise there was both a prequel and sequel movie! Gonna watch this first since I can't find the sequel anywhere :(
