I would say watch the drama first even though this is a prequel to the drama. Reason being, this is slow & you may not feel invested in the characters. The whole thing may even seem pointless at some points. But if you watch with the drama at the back of your mind, you'll find more meaning & value to the characters' actions & interactions.
I watched the drama & loved it, only to realise there was both a prequel and sequel movie! Gonna watch this first since I can't find the sequel anywhere :(

RIGHT. I see. I am always happy to recommend J dramas, let me know if you want them. I am a big time J dramas/movies fan, pretty much watch only those these few years.

I generally write reviews only for shows I give a 10 to or shows that I found fantastic. But yeah all the bad reviews on this page are tempting me lol.. this show definitely deserves more than a 6.

I loved the episode starring Kuroki Haru so so much. All 3 of them laughing at the end of the episode gave my shipper heart so many feels.. it was just so WHOLESOME. I wish she was in the drama for more episodes.
A charming slice-of-life drama carried by great acting from Matsuda Ryuhei & Nagayama Eita, great direction & an A1 OST. They conveyed so much with minimal dialogues. Seriously just watch it! Also, Gyoten's character is LOVE!
I loved Nagi's Long Vacation too! Check out her other works. She shines in every role :)
