but, I'm a bit confused with episode 5. I don't understand what is sekuhara investigating? and who is that Toda…
He was investigating the links between the murders and trying to form a connection between Hidaka & Mochizuki, & the both of them to the murders. He's almost convinced that Hidaka is the murderer & that Mochizuki has some relationship with him.
That manga guy (if I'm not wrong) is one of those who testified in one of the murders. I need to re-watch this as I've forgotten. That's why watching an ongoing drama of this kind of genre is tough sometimes. You forget little details here & there HAHA
The letter spoke about a girl on the bridge & I think we can assume that he's either protecting her because she's the murderer OR some accomplice.. I was thinking that there might be some connection to his sister there.
While I really really ship Aoi/Gon & Sora/Irino, I like that so far, the show has only hinted at possible romance between the 2 pairings but hasn't fully gone into the romance. Like I think that pop culture has influenced us to constantly see 2 people (esp men/women) through the lenses of romantic chemistry. It's like once we see a man & a woman get along well or have chemistry, we ship them. It's like the idea of friendship between a man & a woman is undervalued? I don't think 2 people who have crazy chemistry and comfort always need to end up together. They may very well find another, or not even date.
So while I really ship these 2 pairings, I would actually really find it refreshing if these 2 pairings don't end up as anything more than friends. I really wouldn't mind it. Of course I'll be very happy if they do end up together.
As long as her bond & relationship with Irino never changes, I will be happy if she is happy with Wataru.
Horimiya is adorable! E2 had me squealing :)
I haven't caught up with S2 & S3 of Cold Case. They've been on my watchlist for sometime. Thanks for the reminder!
I'm watching all those you mentioned. They're fantastic, esp Tengoku to Jigoku & Nijiro Karute. Consider adding Kimi to Sekai ga Owaru Hi ni to your list as well . It's fantastic!!
WOW cool. What did you think of the ending? Do you think that Hiro would eventually fall back into his old ways? I always feel like he would. Also we're shown that Maria is on a wheelchair.. do you think that her mental capacity was intact? She didn't look normal to me.
It wasn't without its flaws but it was just so well written & acted that I couldn't find myself giving it any lesser than a 10. Maybe because I binged it at one shot, I had so many intense emotions that were all over the place.
And hello, we meet again LOL
