This guy has such a big marketing machine working for him, it's admirable. I congratulate him in his choosing of agency/manager. Even here in MDL, there's a bunch of daily flowers purchasers that have his dramas listed as completed, of course all with a 10 rating. I just realized it recently, and started checking daily, because they don't even try to hide it: Today there were 8 of them, each bought 300 flowers. I'm in bed sick and bored, and found this new entertainment: visiting the lists of suspicious flower buyers for Xiao Zhan LOL No wonder he has so many flowers...

So far the voting, in my opinion is showing more "acting" talent than outside beauty, which is understandable because one tends to see beauty in our beloved actors. And the heavy voting for south korean in this poll, seems to mirror the drama preferences of most of MDL (based on the number of ratings given to k-dramas vs ratings given to other dramas in this site).
So in my opinion, these results are expected, although actually Chinese and Thai hotties have been filling and/or topping the majority of internet hottest Asian lists for a long time now (although the few korean in them are gorgeous as well). Beauty is very subjective, a guy can be ugly but sexy and that could place him above a pretty face. But usually there is a commonality of tastes in a majority of voters from different countries, the reason for similar results in different lists.
As some have pointed below, the diverse chinese ethnicity truly shows in so many leads and supporting, one guy more gorgeous than the other, which for me has been an unbelievable discovery of new male beauty during the last years. because before I thought that the sexiest guys on earth were Brad Pitt, Can Yaman, Takuya Kimura and "young" Yul Brinner 🤣🤣 My list has now not only several Chinese, but Taiwanese, Thai, 1 more Japanese and 3 south koreans., plus my original four.

Me too, I really dislike love triangles, even more so if they last beyond half of the drama.

Fast paced, original script with only few holes. I'll rewatch it just to enjoy Lego Lee's excellent acting. Also, like every Taiwanese drama I watched, it has good kissing scenes.

I disagree. Making the decision to break up, with a lie, without considering how much NYS would suffer is utmost selfishness. I agree with everything that Linnie90 said. What a terrible character the book author gave the FL. Thankfully I'm enjoying WC, I love his acting.

I'm not sure why you would think that someone would not watch this for the romance, when the most prominent genre of this drama is romance (the reason why it's listed as "first" genre in the description). ... Anyway, I would only watch it for the romance, and there are too many eps with XCS and HHL (someone even said below, that final closure between them came around ep 27, just 9 eps before the end). I dislike love triangles and had tolerate some that were not very annoying. But in this drama there too many eps where the main leads are not together, for me to even try to start watching this.

Yes, he pursued her, but confessed almost at the end of the drama. And you're correct, it's a love triangle by standard "trope" definition.
