Interesting how people can have different opinions.I've seen hundreds of cdramas and think that Pursuit of Jade…
You, DaliLee, may have watched hundred of dramas, but you just registered today as a member in MDL to post your comment. We long time members of MDL are extremely suspicious of people like you, who register to post a comment defending a particular drama, and therefore we don't give that comment any importance.
I’m on episode 30 already, i started watching it last Friday and i don’t think i will be able to move on from…
That's because you've watched very few C-dramas and none of them are historical or wuxia with the exception of The Untamed. There are many good ones an better than this one, so you'll move on pretty fast 😊
Most high-rated dramas in MDL have disappointed me. Given current high rating, I thought POJ could be an exception. All was perfect because I just loved the first episodes. But unfortunately, I have already watched 8 continuous episodes with the leads completely separated (20% of the drama), and plot holes in the (boring) Sui Yuan brothers revenge/attacks. I'm placing in on hold for later, and watch Bloody Monday which was highly recommended by a friend who shares my disappointing-high-rated-dramas history.
At 8,5 this is the highest rated MDL score so far this year, I believe.
No, only for k-dramas, because: 9.1 Pursuit of Jade 8.8 Love Between Lines 8.8 Love Story in te 1970s 8.7 One Piece S2 8.6 Bloodhounds S2 / How Dare You? 8.5 In Your Radiant Season
I'd like the article to have an edit, and instead of saying that the groom is a "normal citizen", describe him as not a celebrity or that he's not in the show business industry.
I just learned that she was 13 years old when she was cast to be the romantic partner of an actor 9 years older (drama: Hi! School - Love On). What a horrible mother she had, representing her to act as a much older woman when she was just starting her teen years. With a mother like that, no wonder she had so many mental struggles growing up.
I went to your profile, and went to the links you posted about your review of EAW, and I had a great time reading/watching Sport Seoul and Daily Report. By the way, you do look very young and handsome 😊
No, people are tired of being made fun of now days. The ones who are ignorant just didn't think people they make…
Aah I see why you're so angry: You're from South East Asia and felt targeted in the actor's comment! That is why (after 12 days this gossip was published) you keep on replying to any user who differs. You actually have the right to act this way!
I doubt it's possible to make a remake as good as the acclaimed Korean original, and in general, I think that remakes rarely succeed. But since I liked much more the Japanese version of Marry my Husband, let's see how it goes with this one.
I'll answer your naive comment, maybe you're a very young person who knows nothing about writers "Writers wouldn't write something they haven's experienced themselves". My dear, unless a book is a school subject book, or a book telling true facts (history, autobiography, etc), all books and film/TV scripts are "FICTION", with fictional characters and events (unless they are based on a true-facts-book)... Or do you really think that Lee Hye experienced a time loop to write "See you in my 19th Life"? Or that Park Ga Yun had a drunkard as a father to inspire him to write "Train"? Or that Joo Dong Geun met zombies so he knew how to write "All of Us are Dead"?
Totally agree. For me, there are 2 very, very unrealistic, ridiculous tropes, one in K-dramas and one in C-dramas. For K-dramas is this one, celibates for decades remembering their first love 🤣 - For C-dramas, also used frequently, is when the main leads met when they were little children, after decades they still remember each other (even if they were neighbors for only 1 year 🤣 I usually deduct stars from my rating for those unoriginal, absurd plot devices...
9.1 Pursuit of Jade
8.8 Love Between Lines
8.8 Love Story in te 1970s
8.7 One Piece S2
8.6 Bloodhounds S2 / How Dare You?
