It's the tone. I know multiple autistic people and I nor others don't speak to them like that. Even to a minor boy I know. Everything she is saying it's fine I just think the baby voice is such a bad stereotype... Not just in this show in so many others too..... Day doesn't speak to him like that (at least in the beginning, now it's starting to happen occasionally) and yet he opened up to him
