in novel huan er got together with college senior first then got cheated on by him but they completely changed and erased this plot for the drama ver. in drama it is just one sided crush from senior to heat up the jealousy, nothing serious, xi chi and huan er are each other first and end up happily.
10000/10, what a great ending, it is so heartwrenching and like a beautiful farewell to long time friends. the video tape screening got me crying π
thank you zhai xiaowen and yang xizi for bringing xichi and huan er come to life. especially yang xizi, oh gosh i love her portrayal so much, she really embraces the character and i get to love huan er so much, usually when there is a fl who got dozen of men pinning over them, i always question it, but here arghhh huan er deserves all the loves, such an adorable beautiful attentive funny and emotionally smart girl huan er is. kudos to all the side characters too, the dorm girls, high school classmates, and the parents π₯Ίπ
it is underrated among international audience, but im glad the mainland gave this series a pretty high rating on douban. i hope more people soon discover this gem. brb im gonna rewatch for 12381983 times
