i shared my theory down!

there is two spots from the beginning of story that hyeryeong - siwon target. hyeryeong itching the eyes and siwon goes for the neck, you can see by how hyeongwuk and geonu act before they get controlled and they emphasized there has always been two of them. remember how hyeryeong had red right eye and was cured by siwon's mother? i believe her cursed evil eye moves to the brother in law as he was wounded by hyeryeong. after he threw the knife and siwon escaped, the compass went crazy again and the broken glass went through his eye spesifically so i assumed it was hyeryeong's doing because she needs someone else to see her before siwon spotted her helping the victims. so there is more lore behind hyeryeong red eye's story and why she feels invited and welcomed in siwon's mom's shrine.

this is so amazing, i love the mix between modern feat traditional mystic. i have read some local ghost story where the supernatural being using handphone to prank, like sending message or ordering online taxi- so watching drama with this theme is so fun. the newcomers are all acting brilliant too, i wish to see more new faces with good story like this! also somehow the setting and directing kinda reminds me of 2000s horror dramas, so it gives me nostalgic feeling?

i have never seen all the main casts except mina, so this lineup is so refreshing, gotta watch now!

also for sunrok, even despite the scene stealing, i feel they still have many materials to use and they can write new plots like the busan so it can extend for more episode- but yeah i agree with you they chose to be lazy and make it short. just 2 less weeks and you can binge watch! i hope you are satisfied with the adaptation ver. as im so lovin it as the webtoon fans!

babi's transit love is much much more apparent in webtoon ever since his first appearance ( making a move on yumi while still in relationship w his ex ), feels they give him sunrok's chapters to tone it down ( i don't buy their excuse for not having s3 in plan )

i love sunrok both in webtoon and drama 😂 there is a change but they still nail the drama adaptation for s3 and i think it is for the best, im loving all episodes even the new plots!

it still pissed me off so much 😭 like those are all most important chapters of sunrok, the falling stair, his work out body, couch sleep over, umbrella, making breakfast, crooked tie, apartment password. all sunrok's traits to make babi more likeable in drama, my grudges towards him is justified.

compared to webtoon, there is different approach in drama ver.

in webtoon, sunrok boundaries is more clear, he "rejected" yumi, drawing a line in the movie request even went straight to her next day to emphasize "we are coworker". not until he got sick and being thankful to yumi that he started catching feelings and approach her right away after realizing his feeling/after his blind date- they went on a date first before sunrok confessing ( but the whole date got stolen by babi, the umbrella, heart fever, it was used for s2 ).

in drama, there is a new plot doesn't exist in webtoon, "the missed busan train" where i believe become a major turning point for his cells. something happened in their first busan trip, like we can notice in ep 3- he went to print her photo and gave it to her in person, glancing her every seconds, then yeah more subtle scene with him opening up-> greeting yumi first, joking, eavesdropping her convo, meddling juho's invitation. then we get movie request where he invite yumi back > this totally changed his arc from the webtoon timeline, his rational cell isn't working alone, his whole cells villages are already up watching yumi since that first busan trip! i love it :3

next episode they better show more the aftermath from busan accident from sunrok's pov, something must have happened in sunrok's village to the point he went to print yumi's photo, framed then gave it in person and said she is pretty- there is no way his rational cell working alone 😂

i believe next ep they will show why love cell is back and it is not because of sunrok solely. in the webtoon, yumi watching other couple ctrl z + ruby dating and how warm and affectionate they are to eo, wake up the love. but there is no ctrl z and ruby here, so we might see new perspective written for drama ver later on, maybe daeyong and ida's marriage or maybe the puppy crush fangirling nahui or anything else
