As for STN, I don't deny his capability, he is a brilliant worker. I just don't like he thinks little of the low class while the poor people are the one who lose so much serving for the country.

- shen tunan, i actually dont see him in good light as they are showing his hypocrisy since the start. but he is a good father, husband, brother, and mentor..
- chunmiao our lil sister, i hope she gets to live through the war. i dont want anymore death from ruolai's closest one. lets move fast and run away to your hometown with ruolai and jinzhen

honestly we cant see a country in a "better" light just because they have "less" corruption. sadly the singapore you mentioned, is one last escape route for corrupt officials and even to this day, it is one popular place for money laundering by the rich from neighbouring countries. isn't it sad and weird that one of the top corruption free country becomes one safe place for corrupt officials :/

yes yes yes, wen is so genuine in everything for ruolai. he doesn't even see ruolai as last resort despite ruolai offering to pay all his debt. how come in his last moment he just wants ruolai to quit, escape from those wolves and save himself.. it is so devastating 😭😭😭

sadly those corrupt government still carried on dirty game even to this modern day and they target the low class who are clueless and only seeking for hope.. in my country, the online gambling becomes an issue because the rich are maintaining the roots and playing with the officials. feels like they switch from stock manipulation to online gambling because the middle class isn't buying their trap anymore. the victim's family are looking for help to cancel artist who promote online gambling, not alone sharing more education about this. sadly the local police doesnt help at all. it is all rotten to the core.

it hurts more when we realized wen accompany ruolai on his first day .. and the farewell is on ruolai's last day right after resigning.. 😭

This series is so ✨ rich ✨ with so many details, i need to rewatch for sure to notice every little hints.

I especially love they show how different Shen siblings when it comes to the low class whenever they visit Ruolai's home. Jinzhen easily blends in and she doesn't show any "disgust" to QiBao neighborhood. Talking with people and greeting the kids. Even when Jinzhen skipping over water puddle, it is shot so beautifully showing it is not any different from other street. While Tunan explicitly having displease by covering his nose and brush off people's bump. It is more clear in their second visit when Chunmiao comes to the picture. Jinzhen is the first one to offer a handshake and not having prejudice towards her, while Tunan is drawing a line up until Chunmiao hit the nail with her communist statement showing she is never one to look down to.

ruolai is coming back with his unemployed era look, it is a win for me 💃🏻 also i was wishing for wen to success and have a business with chunmiao but they kill him off like that 😭

i dont have any problems for user posting fan taken photos, but at least make it minimum and dont spam the album. not every user here is dedicated fans of actor/actress, im here to see drama information not fanpage. "Where you've been all the time?", apparently i just scroll through director guo's work then discover this drama.

ok but can someone please stop posting repetitive photos into the album? i want to see the official picture release but it gets drowned :/ i already blocked the user, but it doesn't change, the pictures are still there.
