i love how this series highlights the older generation's vile ways to hold onto power. The numerous sabotage attempts at the exam made me realize how similar that is to the present day. Higher barriers block entry to post-grad opportunities for Gen Z as the years go by to provide job security or less expense to the current job force filled with Gen X, millennials, or leftover boomers.
I feel like this season had a humanistic rawness of life as you settle into a new job/internship, city, or experience; finally noticing how backward everything is while everyone goes along with it since the corruption runs so deep or is too costly to fix. Kinda like the Truman Show.
Great job writers! Please expand on this in Season 3.
This whole series could've been chopped up into a quarterly series. There is too much information to digest. I'm not enjoying this as much as LLTG. That story surpasses this one.
Oh another one of those dramas where the FL proclaims "i dont need to rely on a man. im strong. i can do everything…
yes thank you for clocking this drama's tea... I was beginning to get fed up with the FL character ... I have no idea how this would be enjoyable for anyone over the age of 11. I agree with the Scooby Doo level investigations ! I kept saying that LLTG ML and FL wouldve already solved the hole plot in the first 10 EP.
Wait...why did I just read that the FL was barely 18 when filming this? Holy f888k. Yeah um, can the directors and producers actually hire FL in the same age range as the ML. Because the ML himself is grown as hell and his role in the drama is very mature. No one likes a little girl with a grown man..its hard to enjoy the drama and the plot. Especially when it seems like the FL character got 'baby-fied' or dumbed down due to the FL age.
This industry has to do better. All because the girl is gorgeous and you can pan to her face(at the oddest times) doesn't mean she is a good fit for the role. This little girl was a bad casting for this story. I'm only on EP 15 and I came here to vent my complaints. Mind you I watched this because the ML is sexy and to see him paired with a TEEN is CRAZY. JUSTICE FOR THE ML!!
My favorite part of this drama is ML and FL traveling together.. The change of scenery moved the story along better. In the 2nd half of this show, things got repetitive..We've seen this plot before, although executed differently this time around. However, the 2nd ML military war thing came out of nowhere..If you want to talk about war, why not incorporate this plot after episode 10 instead of episode 22/23? Usually, with these short shows, it's hard to squeeze everything in ... why not create a cliffhanger at episode 20 and introduce a part 2 explaining the military/war, court stuff in detail instead of rushing the story along in such a manner?
I still consider this show refreshing. The vibrant colors and costumes made the environment interesting and appealing for viewers, and the actors were great as well.
I'm enjoying this story so far, but I can't help but realize a pattern with these obsessive characters, who are military men who yearn for the FL. This is the fourth story with such a storyline, and it's quite sad to see. Even if the storyline is whimsical, with court and family scandals, why shy away from giving those 2ML or any military character a decent plot? The plot doesn't have to become a hardcore martial arts show, but at least put more effort into developing these hardened, misunderstood characters.
This show had tremendous ups and downs as we followed each sister's journey in marriage and love. But episode 34 was terrible. Starting from episode 29, several subplots were attempted for the second-to-last sisters' storyline. Still, it abruptly stopped in the middle of episode 34, which to me was quite odd and unsatisfactory.... Okay, this 5th sister is such a headache...her storyline is annoying. I actually hate her lol Good job screenwriters... The choppy storyline is tolerable if done correctly but it seemed rushed like the director ran out of space on his hard drive. Please satisfy your viewers with an in-depth season 2 :D... I will come back after watching the final episodes.
This drama was a letdown. I had high hopes for what it could have been, but the screenwriter became tired of himself by episode 30 and killed off key characters, leaving major plot holes. The progression of the story became disjointed and unbearable to watch. Everything felt too slow or too fast. The music in the movie was louder than the dubbed voices .... it was messy. Then, the CGI wasn't the best.. First 20 episodes were amazing..
