Okay but this got drama got me and my friends hooked every week when it was on going, mostly because of the cliffhangers every episode but how can you not enjoy even just a little bit all the teenage angst in this drama
anyway, it depends on your preference but we lived for the drama in this drama
every character was so distinct and had extreme qualities we got so attached to almost everyone

it's very predictable but it executes the story very well and at least for me, still managed to have me on the edge of my seat most of the time even though i didn't find anything that happened surprising

Im so glad to see Shun Oguri here. He also made me a fan of Japanese dramas after my cousin convinced me to watch the Japanese version of To The Beautiful You which was Hanazakari no Kimitachi e. He also appeared in the Japanese counterpart of Meteor Garden Hana Yori Dango and Hana Yori Dango 2 and after that I just wanted to watch more Japanese dramas. Those were his earlier works so Im still just getting used to his newer works. So far, Ive watched Rich Man Poor Woman and was surprised to have a cameo from him in Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!

I like season 2! I definitely see how different it is because season 1 was in 2016(?) and now it's 2020. I think the romance feels especially dated but not in a bad way??? I watched season 1 just this year and i love it so much. Season 2 has still a lot of episodes to make me love it. It's so different but I feel like the quality is still there. It is more political tho and honestly I'm a bit less interested in the politics here because the characters are not directly related to the issues unlike season 1. The main couple is so different and I why some are not a fan of their progress but I think it's so delicate and warm. (Season 1's main couple was passionate and confident) and im not only talking about the kisses but their relationship as a whole.
