I watched 36 minutes and called it quits. OOMMGGG 😳😤😡 I can’t. My brain can’t comprehend.

This one hits different though. There’s something more provocative and offensive in this one compared to even “Circle of Love” which had people pretty aghast years ago, yet still fawning over the hot ML even though he was a total monster. I don’t take that one seriously at all. But this mess right here, The Silent Wife, hits different. The first few episodes were vile.

I’m saying prior to that flashback, we saw no hints of his true character. He seemed like a normal good egg in early episodes; whereas, with Ji Yong, we got clues early on that he was a suspicious character.

Really? Maybe I need to rewatch from the beginning then because I saw no hints of duplicity in him in the earlier episodes. I feel like the Director gave us no hints whatsoever along the way. It was just sprung on us when he learned of his biological mother. I forget which episode that was, but it was deep into the series, like episode 20 or something.

Song Han’s evil turn came out of nowhere. Had the evil been latent within even when his life was good? How does one turn 180 degrees opposite overnight just because you learn you’re not nobly born?

She’s so trusting and pitiful right now, thoroughly gaslit by her husband and manipulated by the Enpress’ servant. Heartbreaking.

Every episode is on point. Loving it!

With the exact right camera angle, he’s quite the cutie. But, yeah, he went overboard with the rhinoplasty. Even still, it’s his sexy vibe that draws fans in. He’s got hella charisma. And, he’s a good actor, quite versatile.

This drama is not delivering for me. I loved it the first couple of episodes, but it’s allure quickly waned thereafter. This Director’s mini-dramas are some of my absolute favorite dramas . But, this full-length series just isn’t giving what I expected. Unpopular opinion, I’m sure.

I kinda get what you mean even though I’m enjoying the drama. Even the wedding night was a disappointment. They have chemistry though. But, yeah, sometimes we don’t get enough of the couple. I can’t put my finger on it. I think all the extra side stories weigh the drama down. Hence, we don’t get enough of our leads. Oddly though, “Story of Kunning Palace” was similar, but that was lit 🔥 every episode. Not sure why the difference.
