L&P ML character was too rude and arrogant for my liking. ML character here in LFY makes me want to fall in love because he’s so attentive and devoted to the FL. FL character here is more badass, like the other commenter said. She was a a pitiful simp in L&P, in my opinion. The L&P love scene also was too heavily edited so it fell short for me. I don’t remember any good skinship scenes in L&P. Even though, it doesn’t sound like it, I did actually enjoy that drama. But, “Love For You” romance is better. “Lighter and Princess” story was better, but the romance was toxic.

It’s a melodrama about two kids with derelict parents, forced to live in the same household, who eventually come to depend on each other and fall in love with each other. (They are NOT stepsiblings.) The ML falls into a rough life and pushes the FL away, but she returns after 6 years.

Very much worth the watch. Chemistry and story development are on point.

Same, everything you said. I literally bumped my rating up to a 10 immediately after this episode, in the heat of the moment! I brought it back down to a 9 though because I want to see if the drama stays as good all the way to the end. But, yeah, ep 17 was top-tier. 💥🔥💥🔥. That episode was a 10/10.

Yep, I totally get what you mean. I am picky about kisses too. The emotions and intensity were on point though. The kiss was pretty good. There was more to it than what you said. But, I do see your point.

Nope, the commenter was right. I totally understand what she was saying. The kiss was still emotional though. I just wish it had not been posted in the promotional videos so that we could have experienced it for the first time in the drama itself.

I need to see Song Wel Long in more fight dramas. This is DEFINITELY the lane he needs to be in. If they ever do a “Bloodhounds” C-version, Song Wei Long needs to be the lead. OMG, good acting in ep 17. 👏🏾👏🏾

He was moved at her recounting what her vision for their life had been. She never had lofty ambitions. She had just wanted to live a simple, happy life by his side. He was overcome with emotion and couldn’t help but give into his feelings and hug her. These feelings have been building. It wasn’t all of a sudden.

Toxic? They are in a Cold War kinda, but it’s not toxic. They each sincerely care for the other.

I enjoy this actress as well. She was the lead in “Hard to Find” which I enjoyed. She has many great supporting roles too as you mentioned.

It’s real not a dream sequence. Chen Yi is giving into his feelings. He can’t restrain himself anymore and hugs her. Miao Jing is startled and drops the thermometer. The Director zooms into the broken pieces because it’s a visual metaphor for their broken relationship.

The styling for that female General who’s impersonating a man is one of most convincing gender-benders I’ve seen. If not for her voice, this woman could really convince someone she was male.
