Did no one comment upon the cute “uniforms” of this sport yet? The billiards/snooker attire is so stylish. The vest, white puff-sleeve shirt, and sharp slim-fit trousers in black or gray—I love it, with hair in a sleek bun or high ponytail. (Very Caroline Bissette). I might start adopting a bit of it in my own personal style. And, the men look so sharp and handsome. What a classy sport. There was so much ceremony and decorum to the sport. It reminded me of The Hustler though. 🤣All I could think of was Paul Newman and Jackie Gleason while watching this. Very, very different settings for the sport of course.

I’m enjoying this, kinda. FL is weak, easily duped though. Also, the villains are always two steps ahead. Annoying.

Thanks for the shout-out! 🥰

Yu Ra has a serial-killer vibe. She seems like a true psychopath. She’s beyond being a bad seed. She’s downright scary. She’s got Su Min beat.

He looked good in Moon River though, like Hercules. He was huge 💪🏽 then.
I get that, actually. He’s not the traditional, pretty-boy, handsome standard (like, say, Cha Eun Woo). But, he is handsome nonetheless. He has a nerdy charm that’s hot and endearing. He looks like a young Dermot Mulroney to me.

Na In Woo must have gathered lots of fans with this series. He is the sweetest ML ever. He really warms my heart…

Su Min has the ultimate victim mentality. She chooses to play the victim and blame others for her life even when others are going through hellish trials the same as she. I have no sympathy for her despite her sad childhood.

Honestly, I respect Guo’s restrictions on intimacy within the relationship. She respects herself and her values. She refuses to do anything before she is ready. Kissing leads to sex. She’s not sure about marriage and whatnot. So, it’s prudent to pull the reins on too much skinship. I’m just amazed she still has a boyfriend because most would have been “peace out” a long time ago. It shows the depths of Lin Yiyang’s restraint and love for her.

I don't really get the moral of the bus driver's story though, or may be I got it wrong. Let me see if I remember…
The “happy wife, happy life” philosophy has merits, but it has its limits too. Maybe the point of the story was to illustrate how the woman can be unreasonable too, that it’s not always on the man to be perfect every single minute, every single time. The woman needs to be discerning of his needs and his feelings too. Guo got the point and came to her senses.

Wang Xing Yue is far more than “an improving but decent” actor. He’s an outstanding actor. He first caught my eye in “One and Only.” He was only 19 then, yet handled that role with the gravity and maturity of a seasoned professional far beyond his years. I was floored when I learned how young he is. He’s a stand-out in every drama he’s in. More than just “decent.”

He has reassured her countless times over the course of the relationship that he’s “in it with her.” His very efforts to reach out to her family conveyed that. He has said a couple of times, “I will adjust to you.” He’s enduring the indignity of being her hidden boyfriend. He’s the loving, considerate boyfriend ALL THE TIME, yet she gets mad at the first and only instance of his being less than considerate, of his being human. He’s always catering to her and her feelings. True, he was overeager to ingratiate himself with her family at their family gathering especially given his sensitive history—I can understand her being uneasy about that. But, the rest of the misunderstanding—it was on her to just chill when she saw his mood. But, yes, I agree with your overall opinion that both had a responsibility to be mature. Both were at fault and both needed reassurance.
