I enjoyed this! Very heart-fluttering. Sure, the FL had her issues, but she wasn’t a bad person. Being over-sensitive isn’t a crime! The ML, thankfully, had the good sense to recognize a good thing and worked like crazy to keep her in his life. Their chemistry was fire. Nice in-laws. Warm friendships. Happy vibes.

Just started. On episode 6. It’s pretty good, much better than I thought it would be.

C-dramas jack K-dramas’ style, plots, and OSTs all the time. All. The. Time.

Even though this a concurrent story set in the Hidden-Love universe with the same characters, it appears the two dramas will be unrelated as they are using different actors for the ML. And who even knows if any of the “Hidden Love” actors will make an appearance in “First Frost.” Probably just best to view this as a separate drama altogether. Therefore, I would say binge and enjoy “Hidden Love” now.

Good to know. I will check out Bionic again . I watched episode 1. It was ok, but dark. So, I dropped it. Might pick it back up.

Yes, he was the romantic lead in “Go Ahead” and was absolutely outstanding. He was the lead in “Find Yourself” too. That’s when my crush started. There’s no denying his appeal, for sure. He was ok in “In A Class of Her Own,” but the second lead Richards Wang outshined him even though Richards is not as handsome.

It has a C-Drama vibe.

Did you not see Weak Hero Class 1? That kid is good.

Season 1 was excellent. Can’t get past episode 1 of season 2 though. Hate what they did to the story, to the leads’ relationship. Might drop this.

😄😄That was my first Cdrama too. My mind was blown back then. All of the tropes were fresh and new and exciting to me then. I was obsessed the ML. My second Cdrama was “I Hear You” when Zhao Lusi was a baby with her adorable chubby cheeks. I was obsessed with that drama too back then. I couldn’t get over how handsome Riley Wang was. I am a much more seasoned cdrama watcher now too.

Well-said. I think a more compelling actor rather than the best-looking actor is needed for this idiosyncratic ML character. Song Wei Long has the right look, but does he really have the acting chops to the degree that you described? Honestly, I’m not sure he does although I enjoyed him tremendously in “Go Ahead.” Ryan Cheng has the kind of acting chops you described. He’s emotes extremely well. He’s mesmerizing. I will also say Zhang Ling He has the right skill set given his performance in “Story of Kunning Palace” which blew me away. Richards Wang also has the exceptional acting skills needed, but perhaps not quite the right look. He’s very compelling though. He always steals the show. Miss seeing him in dramas lately.

Does FL have that breathy, overly sweet, baby voice the whole drama? OOOMMMGGGG. At episode 2, not sure I can endure. It sounds very Jackie Kennedy/Marilyn Monroe.
