Decent. Binge-able. Very soapy, but good acting. Nothing fresh or original though. A nice filler drama to kill some time.

It seems her “mother” isn’t an easy woman to elude. It seems like saying no really isn’t that easy, unless she’s willing to just go to the police and turn her mother in for her fraud.

I don’t think that classmate has good intentions. I think she will become jealous of Ina. She might already be jealous as it’s clear that she likes that nice, popular boy in their class. But, the nice, popular boy likes Ina.

Soooo ready for these con artists’ acts to get busted wide open.

She looks tough and strong, but she’s a beauty though. Very attractive lady.

This girl just keeps hurting this boy. Ughh.

Plot is a bit tiresome and childish, but not terrible. After all, male-chases-female-first is my absolute favorite genre. I fall asleep a lot though while watching; but, overall, it’s light and fluffy and pleasant. Hu Yi Tian is very, very appealing in this drama and that’s saying a lot because normally I find his acting bland and expressionless even though he’s extremely handsome. Here, however, he is OOZING charisma. Let’s just hope he keeps the momentum over the full 40 episodes. Decent start so far.

Yep, she got a bit annoying in ep 8, but she finally came clean about her feelings. So, I’m ok with her now. But, yeah, she was working my nerves a bit.

ML is masculine. I can’t stand the feminine, flower-boy look either, but this actor is not that despite his pretty face. He always brings good, sizzling chemistry and strong yang energy with his leading ladies—My Girl, Butterflied Lover, Provoke. He can be the tough guy when he needs to be. But, he’s good at being the tender guy too. I enjoy this actor. I always look forward to his new dramas.

Sad

He was jealous of her, but “fell in love” with her? Was that love? Did he love her or hate her? I couldn’t tell. He was obsessed—that was clear. His mom did him wrong. I felt sorry on that score. That level of abandonment and betrayal can mess with your head. But, still, not everyone with a bad mom turns into a manipulative, coercive, scheming, thieving, kidnapping psychopath.

I didn’t get the lovey-dovey scenes I hoped for, but still glad I got a happy ending. They were a couple in crisis who managed to find their way back to love. That was heartwarming and encouraging. Their growth was beautiful. So many lessons in forgiveness in this drama. By the way, Beom Ja’s style turned so old-lady in the latter half of the drama which didn’t suit her vibrant personality at all.
